From the source: Lawson Light Plane Crash (Blue Mountains NSW) Plane came down at 14:08, 10th May 2014 Loud bang, then the plane's parachute (I didn't even know those existed) was deployed... the pilot attempted to start the plane again a couple of times with fail... it landed with a bang in the front garden of a house on Sayer Street. Fortunately no-one harmed it seems. Lots of locals on the scene - then a stream of police, ambulance, police rescue and fire trucks turned up.
