St. Johns, NL - On Saturday, June 13, 2015 at approximately 3:50 pm RNC Patrol Services Division responded to the area of City Superette on Pleasant Street to a report of an attempted armed robbery. The lone male suspect, armed with a weapon, entered the store and demanded cash before fleeing the scene empty handed. There were no injuries sustained during the commission of the offence. The suspect is described as being in his early 20's, approximately 5'8" in height, slim build, with dark colored hair. At the time of the offence, the suspect was reported to be wearing a black hoodie with a red t-shirt and grey joggers.
