Most animals are more than happy to return to the wild, but we'd understand if you thought that this cormorant has forgotten how to fly! He arrived at the hospital with no major problems, just a bit concussed and very underweight. After filling up on a daily diet of fresh (and expensive) fish , he was ready to return to the wild. However, when Simon tried to release the bird, it seemed he did not want to leave! After two failed attempts, it was third time lucky for this pedestrian cormorant, who didn't seem too happy being called a "donkey", so finally left!
