Seminole, FL - Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public's assistance to identify two suspects in an attempted armed robbery at GTE Financial. The crime occurred at about 5:38 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2015. According to investigators the two suspects entered the bank. Suspect #2 remained by the door, while suspect #1 walked to the automated teller machine. Investigators say when the suspect reached the teller machine he said "let's get out of here," and both suspects walked out of the bank and fled the area. Detectives say that since December 15, 2015 there have been three additional robberies that appear to have been committed by the same suspects: -On December 15, 2015 a robbery occurred at the Quick Food Store located at 7539 46th Avenue North in unincorporated St. Petersburg. -On December 17, 2015 a robbery occurred at the Regions Bank located at 9701 Starkey Road in Largo. -On December 28, 2015 a robbery occurred at the Citgo Gas Station located at 6915 Ulmerton Road in Largo. Suspect #1 is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall with a stocky build. This suspect was last seen wearing gray pants or jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt, white gloves, and his head and face were covered. He was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun. Suspect #2 is described as a white male, about 5'8" tall to 5'10" inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing gray pants or jeans, a gray/black shirt, black gloves, and his head and face were covered.
