Steve Scalise (R-LA) spoke to a group that is aligned with David Duke. We understand that it is a slow news day, but that doesn't mean it's ever the wrong day to broad brush all Republicans as racist! So, it's possible that Rep. Scalise gave a wink and a nod to a racist group. That is bad. Hey, you know who Democrats just love to openly embrace and speak in front of his group? Louis Farrakhan. I wonder, as a member of the media in good standing, how many stories you have written about Democrats embracing a known racist (and actual, literal homophobe!) Let's play a fun game! I'll include here a quote, and without googling to see, you see if you can guess whether the statement was made by David Duke or by Louis Farrakhan. If you pass the test, go an and write your planned story about Steve Scalise. If you fail, instead spend the day in self-reflection about why the nation's trust in the media is at an all time low. Fair warning: I may change up "white" and "black" in these quotes just to throw you off the trail, but all other races mentioned will be left exactly as they appeared in the original quote. Oh, sorry, trick question, that one is Jeremiah Wright, a person who Obama consorted with and praised for decades, and yet who has been declared out of bounds by your fellow members of the media. I changed only white for black in the above quote. Award yourself no points for this question. Here we go, quote # 4: "You know, the Mossad warned about 4,000 Jews who worked at the World Trade Center to stay home on 9/11. Of course you know, the Jews and Israelis control the finance industry, especially in New York City, and if you look at the number of Jews who died on 9/11, the number is way too low for who should have been expected to be in that building. And so that is proof, strongly suggestive proof, of what many people have verified through independent sources, which is that the Israelis had foreknowledge of those attacks and intentionally allowed Americans to die." Was this quote A) David Duke or B) Louis Farrakhan? If you answered A, award yourself one point! Surprising, yes, how David Duke sounds for all the world like the average commenter on a liberal blog? Here we go, Quote # 5: "The Satanic Jews that control everything and mostly everybody, if they are your enemy, then you must be somebody. . . they have thrown everything at me, including the kitchen sink and the toilet, too. . . did you know that the enemies of Jesus were the Jews of his day and the Roman authorities? That's not 2000 years ago, that's today!" Was this quote A) David Duke or b) Louis Farrakhan? If you answered B, award yourself one point! Now time to score your quiz. If you scored less than 3, you don't really know enough about this topic and should engage in further study as to the existence of virulent racists coddled by Democrats. If you scored 3 or above, add to your score the number of stories you personally have written about any Democrat attending an event hosted by Louis Farrakhan or Jeremiah Wright. If your combined score is greater than 6, then you're probably in good standing to go ahead and write about Rep. Scalise. Heck, I'm not going to defend him myself. But if not, do your best to at least appear fair in your coverage of racism by association.

Genius New Zealander Jihadist Accidentally Reveals Syria Location in Tweets

In a Slate examination a few years ago about why more 9/11 attacks aren't perpetrated, one argument stuck out: terrorists are stupid . See you now the case of Mark Taylor , a New Zealander who ditched his home country to help wage jihad with ISIS. Taylor has been tweeting his pro-jihadist message ever since, apparently unaware that the geotag function was on, giving his precise coordinates. iBRABO, a Canadian intelligence research group, caught the tweets before Taylor could delete them (and delete them he sure did). "The benefit of material like this when examining foreign fighters is it allows investigators to establish the extent to which an individual is tied to a terrorist group like Daesh (ISIS)," iBRABO wrote. "In this manner they can better justify potential criminal charges against the individual and at the very least build grounds for their detention and investigation upon their return." Sure enough the group was able to reconstruct Taylor's movements from his various tweets, which also gave context to the photos he tweeted. (I.e., other jihadists featured in his photos can now be pinpointed as well.) Taylor has apparently since figured out how to turn off geotagging, but iBRABO is confident he'll screw the pooch again.
