Russia has remained defiant following the announcement of tough new sanctions from Brussels and Washington. In return, Moscow announced a ban on fruit and vegetable imports from Poland, threatening to extend it to the rest of the European Union. Though the reason given for the ban was stated as 'hygiene', Polish fruit pickers see it as a highly political move at their expense. The Czech government said that a protracted trade war between the EU and Russia could lead to a new 'Iron Curtain'. The EU-US sanctions mainly targeted Russia's three largest banks. Though they claimed their business wouldn't suffer, analysts beg to differ. "The economic cold war with Russia is slowly getting hotter," explained Robert Halver, head of capital market analysis at Baader Bank. "It hurts, especially since Russia will go into recession if things continue this way. Russia has the problem of the three negatives: no capital, no high-tech and no ordnance. The country will go into recession. And we will suffer as well, especially the German businesses which are more invested in the Russian economy," he said. Russia's envoy to the EU, Vladimir Chizkov said the new sanctions would lead nowhere and fail to help solve the crisis. The sanctions announced on Tuesday are the strongest international action yet to Russia's support for rebels in eastern Ukraine.

ISIL Takfiri terrorists have created special centers to organize sending of women to the war front to be used as sex slaves. According to reports on Monday, the Takfiri terrorists have opened what they call "a marriage bureau" to arrange so-called marriages between women and ISIL militants fighting in Iraq and Syria. The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Takfiris' marriage office is based in the Syrian town of Al-Bab in the province of Aleppo. The UK-based group said that the ISIL militants have urged single women and widows to provide their names and addresses. In June, ISIL militants in Iraq called on the residents of the country's major northern city of Mosul to offer their women to the Takfiri militants for sex. The notorious militants also threatened Iraqis in the northern city, with consequences if they fail to comply with the order. The ISIL militants have also been accused of committing gross human rights violations and war crimes in Syria and Iraq, such as rape, summary executions, mass kidnappings, and massacres. Since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in March 2011, several video clips have been released showing the grisly crimes perpetrated by the Takfiri terrorists against innocent civilians in the crisis-torn country. Al-Qaeda-affiliated groups such as the ISIL have been behind many of the deadly bomb attacks targeting both civilians and government institutions across Syria over the past three years. According to some sources, more than 170,000 people have so far been killed and millions of others displaced due to the violence fueled by the militants in Syria. The ISIL violence has spilled over to neighboring Iraq. The crisis in Iraq escalated after the ISIL terrorists took control of Mosul in a lightning advance on June 10, which was followed by the fall of Tikrit, located 140 kilometers (87 miles) northwest of the capital Baghdad. The ISIL and its associated militant groups are blamed for numerous sacrilegious acts. According to reports, the terrorist groups have links with Saudi intelligence and are believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.

CRIMINAL INDICTMENTS FILED IN THAILAND AGAINST GOOGLE DIRECTORS Bangkok, Thailand 28th July 2014 - US based directors of internet giant Google to face Court in Thailand in landmark Cyber Harassment case. In what is believed to be the first case of it's kind, multiple charges were filed today in Bangkok Central Criminal Court in two separate criminal indictments naming as defendants Google Inc, it's founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, and also CEO Eric E. Schmidt, along with the entire US based board of directors of Google in a criminal case involving alleged breaches of Thailand's Computer Crimes Act. Two expatriate business men with business interests in Thailand, David Hanks, 66, and Brian Goudie, 47, filed the criminal charges in case number 2395/2557 and case number 2396 /2557. Hanks Goudie The charges have been laid gainst Google Inc and it's directors based in California, but also names Google's Thai operating company and it's Bangkok based directors as defendants - the law suit alleges contravention of a number of sections of the Thai Computer Related Crimes Act. Hanks and Goudie with lawyer Nattawat Damnaphoen submitted criminal indictments to the Bangkok Central Criminal Court alleging that Google has provided hosting services via it's Blogger platform to an 'alternative news site' - a site they say has been at the centre of a campaign of defamation and, cyber harassment that has spilled over into threats of violence, and real world stalking. Hanks and Goudie allege that the owner of the blog along with a small number of individuals -around 4 or 5 they believe - have been using the blog and a number of fake Google profiles to engage in an ongoing coordinated campaign of defamation, abuse and cyber harassment. Hanks and Goudie allege that the blogger has misreported decades old stories, posted electronically altered 'photoshop' images with the intent to embarrass and humiliate them, and has subjected the two men, their family, friends and business associates to an incessant tirade of abuse going back over two years. The Blogger at the centre of the controversy was given a four month suspended jail sentence in Pattaya Provincial Criminal Court earlier this year after being convicted in a case brought by Hanks, and will face Court again in three new cases on August 6th 2014 on related charges. In addition they say, the Blogger is now on bail awaiting trial in two other cases. Court documents allege that Google breached the Computer Crimes Act by failing to act when the men submitted a request to Google earlier this year to remove the offensive material. It is alleged Google responded claiming they were immune from prosecution under US Code 220 ( the Communications Decency Act) and refused to remove material in dispute. Following this response from Google the two men instructed lawyers to initiate a criminal prosecution under Thailand's tough Computer Related Crimes Act. Documents filed with the Court allege that Google's Blogger platform and search engine results contain illegal data, or links to illegal data, and that Google and it's directors have committed multiple criminal offences by failing to remove the offensive posts when requested. Under s. 15 of the Computer Related Crimes Act a 'service provider' can be held legally responsible for illegal content if they are notified properly and fail to remove the material, and s. 17 allows overseas based service providers to be prosecuted in Thailand. Lawyers say the case has been drafted to follow the reasoning that Google is a 'secondary publisher' as found in two previous cases filed against Google in the UK and Australia - in one case in Australia, Trijulka v Google, the Court awarded damages of AUD 241,000 (USD 204,000) - Hanks and Goudie say proceedings will be filed in the UK and Australia, and the US if necessary. The current case follows the recent 'right to be forgotten' decision by the European Court of Justice handed down against Google in June this year. The Court has issued summonses to the defendants and the case has been set down for a preliminary hearing on 22nd September 2014 to allow the Court to decide if a prima facie case exists to then take the case forward to a full trial.

Andres Balog forced his way in to the property in Park Village Wolverhampton on January 12 triggering motion-sensor cameras which filmed his every move. They'd been placed in the terrace - one of many capture houses across the West Midlands - by detectives, in a bid to catch thieves red-handed. The footage showed the 26-year-old snooping around the living room and rummaging through kitchen cupboards. Balog was identified a week later when officers recognised him as he was brought into custody on suspicion of a separate offence. He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison for burglary at Wolverhampton Crown Court on July 23. Detective Sergeant Nicki Addison, said: "Houses, sheds, garages and outbuildings can all be fitted with this portable and easy to install equipment, meaning any property in a burglary hot spot area can be quickly converted to capture thieves.

However, the way in which the West has distorted the facts about what happened is no mere accident. Rather, it is a clear attempt by Washington and its allies and proxies to capitalize on the incident, using it as a weapon in their continued belligerent and aggressive policies toward Russia. Recent days have seen a deluge of propaganda from both the US Government and the western media (especially US media) which, despite being short on facts, has attempted to place the blame for MH17 squarely on Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin. While this certainly is no surprise given the public demonization campaign of Russia throughout the conflict in Ukraine, it undoubtedly crosses the line from laughable to utterly irresponsible and dangerous. Given the already icy relations between the two countries, it seems that Washington has as part of its strategy the inflammation of tensions. But why? What does the US political establishment, which includes both major parties, hope to gain from this tragedy? Or, perhaps more specifically, how does the United States plan to capitalize on the incident? The propaganda, spin, and outright lies from Western media cannot be understood in a vacuum. Rather, they must be recognized as part and parcel of the larger political agenda of the West both in Ukraine, and Eastern Europe as a whole. Lies, Damned Lies, and Western Media Although the investigation into the crash has only just begun, that has not stopped Washington from attempting to shape the narrative into an indictment of Russia, accusing Moscow of being behind the attacks. Headlines such as White House Blames Russia For MH17 Crash, Saying There's No Believable Alternative (Huffington Post) and Congress: MH17 Crash Is 'Ac of Terror,' and Putin May Be To Blame (The Daily Beast), both of which interestingly come from "liberal" media outlets, have become routine in recent days. The not so subtle, indeed overt, implication of such headlines is that Russia is responsible for the downing of MH17, despite there being no evidence to that effect. Essentially, the US political establishment, and its corporate media appendage, attempted to make a flimsy case into a politically expedient narrative that would bolster the US-NATO agenda in Ukraine, while simultaneously legitimizing the belligerent, anti-Russian rhetoric and policies that the White House and Congress have been pursuing. Moreover, Washington has attempted to use the incident to deflect attention from the brutal war crimes and other embarrassing aspects of the US-backed Kiev regime's horrific war against the people of eastern Ukraine. The specific lies, omissions, and distortions propagated by Washington and its dutiful media servants must be recalled in order to debunk them, but perhaps more importantly, to demonstrate the clear and unmistakable way in which they have been used to cobble together a false narrative that, despite being an admitted fabrication, will be made permanent in the minds of many Americans. The Kiev regime has proclaimed repeatedly that Russia was behind the attack, offering "evidence" of "Russian participation." The first piece of "evidence" were the tape recordings that purportedly provided proof that anti-Kiev rebels and, by implication, Russian agents working with them, had admitted to downing MH17. However, a careful analysis by renowned digital sound analyst Nikolai Popov and his team of experts concluded that that the recordings were not authentic, that is to say, they were cobbled together using various recordings from before the disaster occurred. As Popov noted, "This audio recording is not an integral file and is made up of several fragments." While Popov's team's findings should not be taken as gospel, they do call into question the authenticity of the supposed "evidence." In fact, it is quite likely that the recordings were constructed from actual conversations by anti-Kiev rebels discussing the downing of a Ukrainian Su-25 fighter jet days before the MH17 incident. Of course, the findings should not be seen as definitive, but as yet, they constitute the only sound analysis done of the recordings. It seems more than convenient that neither the US nor any of its partners have carried such an analysis, and have instead chosen to proclaim the recordings' authenticity based purely on faith that Kiev is telling the truth. Naturally, this is a dangerous assumption considering the established pattern of lying by Kiev to further its war against the citizens of the East. Indeed, the regime in Kiev has lied its way throughout the last week with almost every statement and piece of "evidence" it has provided. Yet another example can be found in the video the government released which purportedly showed a Russian Buk missile battery with at least one missile missing moving in the direction of Russia from rebel-held territory. Unfortunately for Kiev, the videos have been examined by many familiar with the region and exposed as distortions insofar as they actually show the Buk systems in Kiev-controlled territory, not rebel areas as Poroshenko & Co. have alleged. And so, with this information, it raises the question not only of Kiev's lies regarding Russian involvement, but also the far more sinister likelihood that it was, in fact, Kiev's military forces, whether under orders or simply through irresponsibility and negligence, that actually downed MH17. Additionally, one must examine the claims made and repeated ad nauseam by Kiev that it had no military aircraft in the skies when MH17 was shot down. From July 17 (the day of the incident) until July 21 (the day Russia's Ministry of Defense presented its intelligence), the Kiev regime continually denied allegations that its military aircraft were in the vicinity of MH17. However, once Russia's MoD provided the international press with evidence refuting that claim and showing that not only were Ukrainian jets in the vicinity, but they were within firing range, magically that talking point ceased to be repeated. In other words, every aspect of the Kiev regime's narrative has been thoroughly discredited. And so, by July 23rd, the media headlines which had, until that point, simply been reiterating the claims made by Kiev and using "US assessments" (whatever that's worth), began to finally admit that there is absolutely no evidence directly tying Russia to the incident. So, the US State Department, along with nearly all major media, were exposed as part of a comprehensive propaganda matrix designed to further US foreign policy aims, rather than report information accurately and objectively. More to the point, just two days earlier, the US State Department made the claim that it had the intelligence to "prove" Russian involvement but, when pressed by Associated Press journalist Matt Lee, refused to provide any hard evidence, be it intelligence or reconnaissance imagery, to support their claims. So once again Secretary of State John Kerry, and the entire State Department, have been made to look foolish in their rush to accuse Russia of wrongdoing, as was the case with the Secretary of State regurgitating the discredited claim of anti-semitic leaflets being handed out by anti-Kiev rebel forces. The US media, like the State Department, obviously have egg on their face, as can be demonstrated quite clearly by the NY Post headlines of July 22nd and July 23rd. On July 22nd, the Post printed on its cover the headline "Dear Vlad - 'Thank you...for murdering my loved and only child'", followed less than twenty four hours later with the headline "US: No direct link to Russia found in MH17 attack." This sort of shameful propaganda, designed to enflame anti-Russian sentiments, rather than report facts, is standard fare for US media and the corporate interests it serves. Washington's Political Agenda The attempts by the US and its allies and proxies to blame Russia for the downing of MH17 expose a transparently cynical foreign policy in Ukraine, and Eastern Europe more broadly, that seeks to dominate and intimidate Russia politically, economically, and militarily. Naturally, this strategy is doomed to fail as the Russia of 2014 is certainly not the Russia of 1994. The MH17 episode is a case in point, showing just how the Washington and Kiev have tried to capitalize on every opportunity to achieve strategic goals by demonizing Russia. A close look at some of the statements from the State Department in recent days illustrates clearly the way in which the Obama administration tried to leverage the disaster in order to buttress the failing war against the anti-Kiev rebels in eastern Ukraine. US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf indicated in a briefing with reporters that the US asked Russia to demand that the anti-Kiev rebels "leave the region" in which the crash occurred so that an investigation could take place. In other words, Washington seeks to use the MH17 investigation as a backdoor option for Kiev to regain territory that it has been unable to conquer militarily; an undoubtedly, and quite despicably, cynical ploy by the US. But of course, the US is now trying to use the fact that Russia was not involved in the attack "directly" as a way for Washington to drive a wedge between Moscow and the anti-Kiev rebels. By stating that Russia is not "directly" responsible, Washington is attempting to put Putin in a corner by giving him the opportunity to exonerate himself and Russia by abandoning the anti-Kiev forces, letting them hang to save his skin. Once again, it seems that the Obama administration is grossly underestimating Putin's resolve on the issue of Ukraine. It is quite clear that the Kremlin is never going to allow a hostile regime that is publicly on the record as seeking NATO participation/observer status and is outwardly hostile to Russia and ethnic Russians to dominate the whole country and create problems in the future. Indeed, this issue of Putin's resolve is central to understanding why Russia has been so assertive in Ukraine since the crisis began. As Putin explained on July 22nd: We shall provide an adequate and well-measured response to NATO's expansion towards Russia's borders, and we shall take note of setting up a global missile defense architecture and building up its arsenals of precision-guided weapons...No matter what our Western counterparts tell us, we can see what's going on. As it stands, NATO is blatantly building up its forces in Eastern Europe, including the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea areas. Its operational and combat training activities are gaining in scale...The so-called competitive struggle at the international arena will imply the use of tools in both economic and political fields. This will include the potential of security services, modern information and communication technologies, and connections of dependent, puppet NGOs - the so-called soft power...apparently, some countries regard it as democracy. Such frank tough talk from Putin is a good indication of why the US regards him and Russia as the primary obstacle to its goal of maintaining and extending US hegemony. Despite the US missile plans for Eastern Europe, the continued imposition of punitive sanctions on key individuals and entities in Russia, the expansion of NATO and its attempt to absorb former Soviet republics into its sphere of influence, and a host of other issues, Russia stands firm and undeterred. Whatever one may think about Putin and his government, it's quite clear that they are not going to succumb to the usual arm-twisting, threats, blackmail, subversion or destabilization that the US employs to get its way. Perhaps this, at least in part, explains why Putin is more popular in his country than any other leader in the world. The downing of MH17 is a shocking tragedy. The dead should be mourned alongside the innocent eastern Ukrainians who have also paid with their lives for the regime change operation that the US sponsored in Ukraine. However, beyond the sorrow and despair engendered by MH17, the world should focus its attention on the political maneuvers that the US has employed to capitalize on the tragedy and, in so doing, moving forward with its agenda of destabilization and aggression against Russia. Washington's belligerent policy is nothing new. However, the stakes have never been higher than they are today. When the bodies of three Israeli teenagers, kidnapped in the West Bank, were found late last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not mince words. "Hamas is responsible, and Hamas will pay," he said, initiating a campaign that eventually escalated into the present conflict in the region. But now, officials admit the kidnappings were not Hamas's handiwork after all. Non-plagiarizing BuzzFeed writer Sheera Frenkel was among the first to suggest that it was unlikely that Hamas was behind the deaths of Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frenkel, and Eyal Yifrach. Citing Palestinian sources and experts the field, Frenkel reported that kidnapping three Israeli teens would be a foolish move for Hamas . International experts told her it was likely the work of a local group, acting without concern for the repercussions: pointed out that Hamas has earlier this month signed an agreement to form a unity government with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, bridging, for the first time in seven years, the Palestinian leadership in the West Bank and Gaza. "They will lose their reconciliation agreement with Abbas if they do take responsibility for ," Baskin added. Today, she was proven right: Repeated inconsistencies in Israeli descriptions of the situation have sparked debate over whether Israel wanted to provoke Hamas into a confrontation. Israeli intelligence is also said to have known that the boys were dead shortly after they disappeared, but to have maintained public optimism about their safe return to beef up support from the Jewish diaspora . Writing for Al Jazeera, Musa al-Gharbi argued that Israel was deliberately provoking Hamas : All the illegal and immoral actions related to Operation Brother's Keeper were justified under the premise of finding and saving the missing teens whom the Israeli government knew to be dead - cynically exploiting the tragedy to whip up public outcry in order to provoke and then confront Hamas. This pattern of deception continues under the ongoing military offensive in Gaza. For example, last week in collaboration with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Abbas, in its efforts to alienate Hamas, Israel announced a bad-faith cease-fire proposal , which Hamas was not consulted on and never agreed to but whose violation supposedly justified Israel's expansion and intensification of the military campaign into Gaza. Despite continued negotiations, the violence shows no signs of letting up, and after Thursday night's massive protests in the West Bank , there is still no ceasefire agreement. On Friday, it became clear that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's attempts to broker a seven-day truce were rejected by Israeli officials. Instead, Israel will apparently widen its ground operation in the Gaza Strip, despite international outcry about the civilian death toll. According to unnamed officials, the proposed truce was too generous to Hamas's demands. Hamas, meanwhile, still hasn't weighed in on the agreement , whose details are being kept secret, but continued to launch rockets into Israel. A Connecticut teacher, accused of threatening to fail a student over their alleged sexual relationship, was admitted to a psychiatric facility following her arrest earlier this month, according to court documents. As of July 8, Danielle Watkins has been receiving treatment at Silver Hills, a locked residential psychiatric facility in New Canaan. The Stamford High School English teacher is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and sale of marijuana.Police allege that Watkins had more than 20 sexual encounters with an 18-year-old student between September 2013 and June 2014. Investigators said she sent the boy naked photos of herself and allowed him to drive her car without a license. In an interview with police, the victim said that he and the teacher often had sex in her car during school hours , but not on school grounds. He also said the teacher supplied marijuana for him and his friends, and that she assaulted him and threatened to fail him when he discussed ending the relationship. Although Watkins is under psychiatric care, police told the Stamford Times that she'll likely end up serving time in prison. "The trust is broken here. Her job's in jeopardy; she's obviously looking at jail time," Stamford Police Lt. Diedrich Hohn told the newspaper.

By Michael Bastasch Environmentalists have declared that global warming can't be stopped without ending the "hegemonic capitalist system," saying that cap-and-trade systems and conservation efforts are "false solutions." "The structural causes of climate change are linked to the current capitalist hegemonic system," reads the final draft of the Margarita Declaration, presented at a conference including about 130 environmental groups. "To combat climate change it is necessary to change the system," the declaration adds. Environmental activists met in the oil producing, socialist country of Venezuela as part of a United Nations-backed event to increase civil engagement in the lead up to a major climate conference. But environmentalists surprised U.N. officials by offering up a declaration that not only seeks to end capitalism, but one that also opposes U.N.-backed efforts to fight global warming - namely, cap-and-trade and forest conservation programs. Climate-change news analysis site RTCC reports that it's unclear which groups signed onto the declaration, adding that it runs in the face of the "green economy" solutions to global warming backed by rich nations. But many poor countries, like Venezuela, do not support a "green economy" solution to global warming, instead, arguing that rich countries should give poor nations cash payments and technology transfers. Rejection of cap-and-trade and forest conservation programs also fly in the face of U.S. and European environmental groups, which back programs to limit and price carbon dioxide emissions. In the U.S., environmentalists rallied behind the Environmental Protection Agency proposals to cut carbon dioxide emissions from new and existing power plants - a plan that would force the shutdown of coal-fired power plants. "Climate disruption is the greatest challenge facing our generation," Michael Brune, the director of the Sierra Club, said in a statement in June. "Until now, power plants have been allowed to dump unlimited amounts of carbon pollution into our air, driving dangerous climate disruption, and fueling severe drought, wildfires, heat waves and superstorms." The EPA's plan to cut emissions from power plants has been attacked by the coal industry and Republicans who say it will harm the U.S. economy without doing much to help the climate. "EPA is setting up our states to fail - our local economies to fail - to deliver on the president's promise that electricity prices will skyrocket - all for immeasurable so-called climate benefits," Louisiana Republican Sen. David Vitter said in a Thursday hearing on the EPA's new rule. "This rule is all pain and no gain." The environmentalists who support the Margarita Declaration may have also been pleased to hear that Australia repealed its two-year-old carbon tax - though Australia is still a free-market economy. Australia's conservative coalition government has been bucking the so-called climate consensus since their electoral wins last fall. Not only did Australia send no high level diplomats to the last U.N. climate conference, but they also plan to cut global warming and green energy programs by 90 percent over the next four years. After obtaining audio of the phony indictment, we discovered the big beefy officer committed perjury to the Grand Jury. After investigation of Public Record: Through proper investigation, public officials to include Judges, Prosecutors, and Public Defenders, Officers of the Court have failed to have oaths of office in accordance with: N.J.S.A. 40 A: 5-33 "In addition to any oath that may be specially prescribed, every person elected or appointed to any office in any local unit shall, before assuming such office, take and subscribe to the oaths required by chapter 1 of the Title "Oaths and Affidavits" (R.S. 41:1-1 et seq.). The oaths shall be filed with the county clerk in the case of the county, and the municipal clerk in the case of a municipality, and shall be preserved by these officials as public records." County Prosecutors are violating N.J.S.A. 2B:25-6 and N.J.S.A. 40 A: 5-33, since they are part of the collusion and hence protecting violators of the law. I am in the process of alerting the U.S. Attorney General and the State Attorney General due to County Prosecutors Misconduct by being derelict of their duties by not properly managing the lower courts with Prosecutors who fail to take oath of offices. Hence, 18 U.S.C. Section 2382 or law in this manner is clear cut. Whereas: 1. The violators of law having no oaths of office, can not formally be charged with Official Misconduct since in case law only Official Misconduct can be charged upon those who truly hold an office. Case law is clear that having no oath of office deems the position/office vacant. 2. The integrity of the internal affairs in Ocean County is compromised. The crucial component of an effective criminal system is non-existent if you are colored, culturally different, or poor. This is a loss of public confidence and a miscarriage of justice. 3. You are Guilty of the crimes you have committed, without due process and automatically despite the charade of injustice is performed in the courts.

Terrible rendition of China's national anthem makes Venezuelan military band a laughing stockWhen China's Xi Jinping touched down in Venezuela earlier this week he was met by the sight of an immaculately presented guard of honour and greeted with a rendition of the Chinese national anthem. Unfortunately the military band performing the March of the Volunteers appeared to have forgotten to tune their instruments or properly learn the piece. While Xi and his entourage, accompanied by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, listened to the performance straight-faced, others who heard the rendition were not quite so polite. Footage of the performance quickly went viral, making an online laughing stock of the band. Bloggers rapidly passed the clip around with glee, branding it the "Venezuelan adaptation" of the national anthem. "I admire our leader and officials for being able to maintain their composures," one comment read under the video clip published on news portal sina.com.cn. "I know I surely wouldn't be able to hold my laughter if I were at the scene." Another blogger suggested that "China should express vehement condemnation to Venezuelan government" for the performance, quipping in a similar way to typical Chinese diplomatic rhetoric. "The orchestra band at my school can perform far better," yet another blogger said on forum guokr.com. Music composer Hu Yanjiang said he believed the band's first trumpeter was responsible for the farce. "He began the song with minor keys instead of major ones," and slowed down the rhythm significantly later in the song, Hu wrote on his microblog Weibo. He said it was only the clarinet that saved the piece from being even worse.

Delving into the history of Pak-US relations spread over six decades one finds that the US relationship was always transactional in nature. Friendship turned into coldness and at times hostility the moment its objectives were achieved. After betraying Pakistan in the 1965 and 1971 wars against India, it made friends with Pakistan in 1981 to help fight the proxy war against Soviet forces In Afghanistan. No sooner the objective was accomplished in 1989; Pakistan's sacrifices were forgotten, abandoned with indecent haste and put under tough sanctions. After 9/11, the US once again needed Pakistan and offered its hand of friendship. President Bush led team duped Gen Musharraf that it will make Pakistan its strategic partner and resolve all its economic problems if it agreed to become the frontline state in the war on terror. Pakistan was assured that this time the US would forge lasting relationship based on mutual trust and friendship and will not repeat past mistakes. Once Mush fell into the honey-layered trap, the US in conjunction with its actual strategic partners began to weave a web around Pakistan through well-planned covert operations. Parameters of the plan rested on destabilization, denuclearization, de-Islamization and balkanization of Pakistan. With India in the vanguard, Pakistan was to be politically destabilized, economically ruined, socially traumatized and militarily weakened to make it a failed state. Afghanistan was selected by CIA, RAW, MI-6, Mosad, BMD and RAAM as the base to launch covert war. FATA and Balochistan were chosen as initial targets to spread anarchy and later terrorism was to be exported to other parts of Pakistan. Covert operations were to be supplemented by focused propaganda war to defame Pakistan and discredit its prime institutions. To start with Mush was coerced to ditch friendly Taliban regime in Kabul and provide desired assistance to US led forces to occupy Afghanistan. India was then given a green signal to go ahead with its false flag operation in the form of an engineered terrorist attack on Indian Parliament on December 13, 2001 and blame Pakistan with a view to extract Kashmir related concessions. Once required concessions were acquired, it was then India's turn to hoodwink Mush by signing peace treaty and making him change Pakistan's age-old Kashmir policy. In the meanwhile, Mush was browbeaten by Washington to launch military operations in South Waziristan (SW) to flush out foreigners and nab their sympathizers failing which NATO troops would barge in. Once regular troops got engaged in fighting with tribesmen in Waziristan, CIA started structuring TTP and making it into a viable force strong enough to confront the Army and possibly defeat it or as a minimum tie it down. To put added pressure, Balochistan was heated up in 2004 with the help of Marri, Bugti and Mengal Sardars. Baloch insurgency was gradually transformed into separatist movement. In order to assist and guide the TTP and BLA, CIA network was established duly reinforced by Blackwater in 2007/08. All these harmful steps were taken to engulf whole of Pakistan in the flames of terrorism and expedite slumping socio-economic indicators and thus making Pakistan fully dependent upon foreign aid. In this timeframe, the US installed its dream team in Islamabad in March 2008 which enabled the US to tighten the noose around Pakistan's neck speedily. When Obama took over in January 2009, the first thing he did was to bracket Pakistan with Afghanistan making Af-Pak border region into single combat zone. He also appointed Richard Holbrooke as Special Envoy who behaved like a Viceroy. Drone war in FATA was intensified and so was psychological war. On one hand terrorism was deliberately stoked and on the other Pakistan was impertinently asked to do more. Pakistan's huge sacrifices were underplayed and its weaknesses owing to resource constraints overplayed so as to undermine Pak Army and ISI, the custodians of national security and strategic assets. The Indo-US-Israeli nexus knew that without weakening and discrediting these two institutions, their quest to steal nukes would remain unfulfilled. India militarily strengthened by USA and Israel itched to attack Pakistan but remained restrained owing to Pakistan's effective nuclear deterrence. Mumbai attacks were stage-managed on November 26, 2008 under a calculated plan but it misfired because of Pakistan military's aggressive response. Swat and SW were prepared as strategic ambush sites to sink bulk of Pak Army and thus create conducive conditions for Indian military to undertake its much hyped limited war under the framework of Cold Start doctrine. When the Army closely supported by PAF turned the tables upon the plotters, the US then applied full pressure on Pakistan to push Pak Army in the inferno of North Waziristan (NW) on the plea that insecurity in Afghanistan was a sequel to safe havens available to Haqqani network (HN) in NW. with 150,000 troops already deployed in the northwest, additional corps required for another major operation would have been at the cost of getting imbalanced on the eastern front. Having seen the jingoism of India in December 2001 and again in December 2008, it was surprising that the US kept insisting that India posed no threat to Pakistan and that it should shift all its troops from the eastern border towards western border. Other than the Indian factor, an operation in NW would have brought all pro and anti-Pakistan militant groups in FATA together with HN and banned terrorist groups on one platform to fight Pak security forces. When Gen Kayani resisted and expressed his security concerns and ISI initiated series of preventive actions in the wake of Raymond Davis incident in January 2011, the US decided to punish Pak military by undertaking a stealth attack in Abbottabad on May 2, 2011. Primary aim of the incursion was to tarnish the high image of Gen Kayani and Lt Gen Pasha and to force a change of military leadership. When the two survived and ISI continued with its efforts to dismantle CIA network, CIA-RAW sponsored terrorist attack on Mehran naval base was launched on May 22, 2011, destroying three PC-3 Orion aircraft. In addition western front was heated up with the help of absconder Fazlullah and his militants who were provided safe havens in Kunar and Nuristan. Pak-US Strategic dialogue was also suspended. In the wake of Taliban attacks on high profile targets in Kabul on September 13, 2011 and murder of Burhanuddin Rabbani on September 20, the then CJSC Admiral Mullen lost his sense of balance and in his fit of rage he dubbed HN as a 'veritable arm' of ISI. During her visit to Islamabad in October that year, Hillary Clinton warned Pakistan that US forces would step into NW to eliminate safe havens if Pakistan didn't pay heed to US demand. When Pakistan didn't oblige, attack on Salala border post was launched by NATO Apaches on November 26. Failure of US military to tender apology broke the last straw on the camel's back. Pakistan could take it no more and it rightly cut off military relations with Pentagon besides closing Shamsi airbase and NATO supply routes and sending back US-UK military trainers. As a consequence, for next seven months Pak-US relations hit rock bottom. This period however allowed the ISI to send home CIA spies operating under different guises. Pak-US relations have sailed past the roughest patch and have re-entered friendly waters. In September 2001, the US at its pinnacle of glory ordered Pakistan to facilitate its intrusion into Afghanistan. This time the US in dire strait is requesting Pakistan to facilitate its safe departure from Afghanistan. It also wants Pakistan to persuade the Taliban to talk and arrive at a negotiated political settlement. It wants to leave behind stable Afghanistan and friendly government. Under the changed environment there is noticeable change in the behavior of US officials. Rate of drone strikes has come down significantly and targets are chosen with care. The US has promised to fund Bhasha dam and to help in overcoming energy crisis. Indo-US charted Silk Route and TAPI pipeline are being advocated as more profitable options than the Kashgar-Gawadar Silk Route and Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline. John Kerry during his short visit to Islamabad on August 1 played the same old tunes of long-term friendship. He was all smiles, friendly, accommodative and conciliatory. He dangled the carrot of resumption of strategic dialogue in next six months. He extended an invitation on behalf of Obama to Nawaz Sharif to visit Washington. It will however be premature to conclude that all is now well. Such assuring words and promises had been uttered by Richard Armitage and others way back in 2001 but we know how the US treated Pakistan all these years. India and Afghanistan are still being used by the US to exert external pressure on Pakistan. TTP and BLA are used to mount pressure from within. Ongoing escalation of tension along the LoC together with tantrums of Karzai and Afghan senior officials and spate of terrorist acts in various parts of Pakistan are designed to put pressure on the new government to pick up cudgels against the militants in FATA rather than initiating peace talks. Acceleration of militancy in Balochistan is aimed at giving a message that establishment of nationalist government led by Dr Malik has not lessened the resolve of separatists seeking independence of Balochistan. Other objectives are to sabotage IP gas pipeline and Gawadar projects. Likewise, stepped up terrorist acts including DIK jailbreak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are aimed at undermining PTI government advocating peace talks with Taliban. Overall aim is to provoke Pakistan to launch the much delayed operation in NW which has become the safe haven of TTP. Apart from application of pressure tactics to keep Pakistan tamed, the US is bent upon making India a global power, a permanent member of UNSC, a counterweight to China and a dominant player in Afghanistan. To this end, the US has taken practical steps to strengthen India economically and militarily. It would like settlement of Kashmir issue but on Indian terms. It will not benefit Pakistan at the cost of annoying India. In other words, as a policy it would always prefer India over Pakistan and in case of Indo-Pak war it will stand behind India. In the backdrop of foreign policy framework of USA in which Pakistan doesn't figure out, we must be careful in jumping to wishful conclusions. We should tread our steps watchfully and remain vigilant not to again get deceived by sweet talk of US leaders asserting that they want to move to 'full partnership' with Pakistan. Rather, our leadership should be mentally prepared to get ditched once again after completion of ISAF's drawdown in December 2014.

A Government-ordered inquiry into the "Trojan horse" allegations in Birmingham found "clear evidence" that there are a number of people, associated with each other and in positions of authority within schools who "espouse, endorse or fail to challenge extremist views". Education Secretary Nicky Morgan Posted: 22/07/2014 The Huffington Post The investigation, led by former anti-terror chief Peter Clarke concluded that there had been "co-ordinated, deliberate and sustained action" by a number of individuals to introduce an "intolerant and aggressive Islamic ethos" into a few schools in the city. This had been achieved in some schools by gaining influence on the governing bodies, installing "sympathetic" headteachers and senior staff, appointing "like- minded" people to key positions and removing heads who were not "compliant" with a particular agenda. Education Secretary Nicky Morgan said that Clarke's findings into the Trojan Horse allegations are "disturbing" and show evidence of a determined effort to gain control of a small number of Birmingham schools. She told MPs that the Department for Education (DfE) was taking action to "put things right". A new education commissioner is to be appointed at Birmingham City Council to oversee action to address the criticisms of the authority in the Clarke and Kershaw reports. Clarke said he "neither specifically looked for, nor found, evidence of terrorism, radicalisation or violent extremism in the schools of concern in Birmingham". But the report went on: "The existence of a common ideological stance among key linked individuals in this enquiry, the taking of control of governing bodies and the implementation of conservative religious practices in the schools where these individuals have influence, means that there can be no doubt that what has happened has been driven by a desire to instil a particular style of religious ethos into these state non-faith schools." The report found that witnesses had highlighted three key concerns about the impact on pupils: That teachers feared that children are learning to be intolerant of difference and diversity. That although good academic results could be achieved by narrowing the curriculum, this meant that young people were not getting a broad education, and instead their horizons are narrowed. That evidence of young people being encouraged to "adopt an unquestioning attitude to a particular hardline strand of Sunni Islam" raises real concerns about their vulnerability to radicalisation in the future. The report was also highly critical of Birmingham City Council. It found the authority was "aware of the practices and behaviours that were subsequently outlined in the 'Trojan Horse' letter long before the letter surfaced". The report continued: "Officers have conceded that it did not consider carefully enough nor soon enough the question of whether there was a pattern in what was happening across a number of schools." Instead, the council was said to have persisted in approaching incidents "on a case-by-case basis". Peter Clarke, who served as head of the Metropolitan Police's counter-terrorism unit, was commissioned by former education secretary Michael Gove in April to investigate the alleged plot by a group of hardline Muslims to take over schools in the city. His report is the last of four separate probes into the allegations in Birmingham, which were originally sparked by the "Trojan Horse" letter - now widely believed to be a hoax - which referred to an alleged plot by hardline Muslims to seize control of a number of school governing boards in Birmingham. His findings differ from those contained in Ian Kershaw's inquiry for Birmingham City Council, which concluded there was no evidence of a "conspiracy to promote an anti-British agenda, violent extremism or radicalisation in schools in east Birmingham". Kershaw's inquiry concluded that key individuals were ''promoting and encouraging certain Islamic principles'' in Birmingham classrooms amid poor oversight from education chiefs. Last month Ofsted issued a damning verdict on the running of a number of Birmingham's schools as it declared five failing and placed them into special measures. The watchdog inspected 21 schools in the city, concluding that a "culture of fear and intimidation" has developed in some schools and, in several, governors exerted "inappropriate influence" over how they are being run. The five placed in special measures as a result of the recent inspections are Golden Hillock School, Nansen Primary School and Park View Academy - all run by the Park View Educational Trust (PVET), as well as Oldknow Academy and Saltley School. A sixth, Alston Primary, was already in special measures. The Education Funding Agency has also conducted its own inquiry, publishing highly critical reports on PVET and Oldknow Academy.

The real problem here is that government control, tough or not, is destroying the market's own internal discipline. Markets aren't just about profits. They are also about bankruptcy. Wall Street firms must be allowed to fail. 2. "We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth." So progressivism is backed by science and other political philosophies aren't? People who disagree with you don't care about the Earth? 3. "We believe that the Internet shouldn't be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality." Rigged to benefit big corporations? No. But are you just benefiting some big corporations at the expense of others? What do you mean by "real net neutrality?" 4. "We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage." What if someone can't get a full-time job, perhaps because of Obamacare? Do they get no help? And how will an increase in the minimum wage help those who can't get any job because of the minimum wage? How will this help teenagers or other young people get their first job? The great progressive President Franklin Roosevelt intervened to keep wages high during the Great Depression. The result was that those who succeeded in keeping their jobs were even better off than before, while millions of others were thrown out of work and had nothing. 5. "We believe that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and that means that when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them." Hm. How are you "fighting alongside them" other than giving speeches? Are you fighting for the workers or for the unions? And how much money have you received from unions? 6. "We believe that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt." Yes - and then what? Hasn't the Federal student loan program driven up the cost of a college education, leaving many students worse off than before it existed? And why is the Federal government borrowing at a low interest rate and then charging the students a much higher rate? How can it be right to make a profit off the students and then apply it to the Federal budget under a line called "deficit reduction." 7. "We believe that after a lifetime of work, people are entitled to retire with dignity, and that means protecting Social Security, Medicare and pensions." How exactly will we do that? Should we keep borrowing from the Chinese in order to "protect" these programs? What kind of protection is that? 8. "We believe - I can't believe I have to say this in 2014 - we believe in equal pay for equal work." Are progressives the only people you think believe in this? 9. "We believe that equal means equal, and that's true in marriage, it's true in the workplace, it's true in all of America." Except in Federal programs that discriminate in favor of one group over another? If equal is equal, then why are non-unionized companies barred from Federal construction contracts? Other examples could fill the page. 10. "We believe that immigration has made this country strong and vibrant, and that means reform." It may "mean reform," but what does "reform" mean? This is evasive. 11. "And we believe that corporations are not people, that women have a right to their bodies. We will overturn Hobby Lobby and we will fight for it. We will fight for it!" If corporations are not people, is it OK for the Federal government to gag their speech, tell them what they must say or not say, and otherwise deny them any of the protections offered by the bill of rights? Having recited what Warren believes to be the 11 tenets of contemporary progressivism, what does she think that conservatives believe? Here it is: "I got mine. The rest of you are on your own." But is this what conservatives teach? Is this even what markets teach? Do they teach us to be selfish? Or do they teach us that we had better put our selfishness aside and tend to the needs of customers and employees first if we want to be successful? People who run businesses are serving the needs of others. And people who work for the government may be just as selfish as anybody else. Did Warren describe all the tenets of contemporary progressivism? No, she described the ones she wanted to describe. But let's leave it for now with her 11.

The NAACP is holding their 105th annual gathering in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. This year's theme? "All in for justice and equality." And what better venue could there be for fighting against injustice and inequality then a multimillion dollar Las Vegas resort, the lavish Mandalay Bay. After years of rejection, black conservatives were allowed a single booth at the convention this year, but they're still locked out of speaking at the convention. As minimal and restricted as their presence is at the NAACP event, black conservatives are still met with open hostility by NAACP faithful because they fail to toe the Progressive line. Yesterday, conservatives Deneen Borelli, director of outreach at FreedomWorks, CL Bryant, a fellow at FreedomWorks, were harassed in the convention hall just because they are conservatives. source

The evidence points overwhelmingly at the terrorists, whose leaders are Russian citizens, current and former members of the Russian armed forces and FSB. In the past, their presence on the frontlines alongside the terrorists in Ukraine provided valuable advantage to the Russian media outlets. They were typically the first on the scene, filming the footage that would be shown on Russian television in short order. This powerful sword of immediate access to live events finally cut the other way on July 17, 2014. Russian media and the terrorists themselves were caught red-handed in making numerous misrepresentations and outright fabrications, intended to override their own previous admissions. Here is a collection of the most outrageous lies with respect to the shooting down of the Malaysia airliner. 1 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 1The Malaysian airliner was shot down at approximately 17:30 (Moscow time). The wave of coverage commenced with the posting on the social media page of a Russian terrorist Girkin (also known under his pseudonym "Strelkov") at 17:50. Russia's mainstream media routinely uses postings on this page as the primary source for their news stories. In his commentary, Girkin boasted that the terrorists managed to shoot down another Ukrainian plane, specifically mentioning what he believed at the time to be a Ukrainian AN-26 airplane, shot down in the area of Torez. Girkin postured, writing: "We warned you - don't fly in our skies" and followed up his comment with two videos,depicting the aftermath of the crash. A similar message was posted by one of Girkin's cohorts, Pavel Gubarev (also known as the Neo-Nazi Santa Claus). After their closer inspection revealed that the terrorists had, in fact, shot down a civilian airliner, Girkin attempted to debunk his own earlier assertion with a bogus message allegedly broadcast by Ukraine's President, Petro Poroshenko. In a garbled pidgin-Ukrainian (obviously written by someone who doesn't speak the language), with numerous misspellings, President Poroshenko allegedly admitted that Ukrainian military shot down "the terrorist plane." This desperate attempt at subterfuge would fail to impress even the most gullible readers. 2 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 2In another failed attempt to hide his culpability, on July 17, 2014, Girkin claimed that the terrorists did not have any equipment capable of shooting down the aircraft traveling at the altitude of more than 4,000 meters. Only one day earlier, on July 16, 2014, Girkin boasted of the terrorists shooting down a plane that was traveling at an altitude of 6,000 meters. These obvious contradictions are self-explanatory. Tragic events of July 17, 2014, demonstrated that a group of drunken rag-tag bandits, headed by Russian intelligence officers and members of the military, should not be entrusted with weapons of any caliber, much less anti-aircraft missile systems. 3 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 3One of the most bizarre exertions, blaming the Ukrainian military for allegedly shooting down the Malaysian airliner, was based on a claim that this was an attempt to murder Russian President, Vladimir Putin. Networks reported that on July 17, 2014, the presidential plane took quite a bizarre round-about route across Ukraine, on its way from Warsaw, Poland to Moscow, Russia. It was reported by Russia Today (more than once), Komsomolskaya Pravda and a number of other Russian mainstream media outlets. Russian aviation sources assert that Putin's airplane never flies through Ukrainian airspace (particularly since the time Russia started fomenting unrest in the East of Ukraine this year). 4 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 4Russian media networks proudly reported that so-called "rebels" again succeeded in shooting down a Ukrainian airplane. This act corresponded with the pattern of terrorist attacks on Ukrainian aircraft. On June 13th, terrorists shot down a Ukrainian transport plane, killing 40 paratroopers and 9 crew members. On June 24th, they downed a Ukrainian helicopter, killing all 9 on board. On July 14th, terrorists shot down a Ukrainian military cargo plane. On July 16th, terrorists downed a Ukrainian fighter jet. These attacks were praised and touted in the Russian mainstream media, as the victories of the imaginary "Novorussia" over the government of Ukraine. LifeNews outlet, whose reporters proudly serve on the frontlines alongside terrorists, rushed to the scene. In the meantime, their network announced on Russian television that another Ukrainian plane was shot down by the "rebels." They also published a corresponding article on their website. Once the network's reporters discovered that the plane shut down by the terrorists was in fact a civil airliner, the article and the video were promptly removed (although still available here, side by side with the conflicting coverage that followed). In the first clip, LifeNews proudly announced that "the rebels" successfully downed another Ukrainian plane, AN-26. In the subsequent coverage (on the same day, with the same host, wearing the same clothes), LifeNews claimed that civilian Malaysian airliner was shot down by the Ukrainian military. It should be noted that since the beginning of this crisis, Ukrainian Air Force has not fired a single missile, despite several alleged violations of their airspace by Russian aircraft. Since Russian terrorists in Eastern Ukraine do not operate any type of aircraft in the area, there is no plausible explanation for the outrageous speculation that Ukrainian military would suddenly attack an airplane. Furthermore, a professional radar operator would have been able to distinguish between a civilian airliner and military aircraft. 5 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 5Russian mainstream media proudly boasted that the terrorists had in their possession SA-11 missile systems, also known as the Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system. For example, on June 29, 2014,ITAR-TASS news agency reported that "rebels" gained control of a Buk missile installation. After the system was apparently used to shoot down the Malaysian airliner on July 17, 2014, ITAR-TASS reported that none of the "rebels" in any of the self-proclaimed "republics" in Eastern Ukraine ever had the lethal and sophisticated Buk. Recent intelligence reports reveal that neither one of these stories were correct, since the weaponry used for the attack, along with the crew of operators, was imported from Russia and later returned. 6 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 6"Russia One" television channel and other mainstream media in Russia would have you believe that OSCE has full trust in the "rebels" and has been granted full access to conduct a thorough investigation. In reality, OSCE report complains of "visibly intoxicated and aggressive" terrorists, who have given the investigators very limited access. Journalists on the scene report that victims wallets have been completely emptied, their belongings were looted and corpses ignored, while the terroriststook shameless selfies on-site. 7 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 7The same terrorists who first proudly boasted they had the Buk system, then categorically denied it after shooting down MH17, now say they do have Buk, but it is "broken." It should be noted that the terrorists previously claimed that should Buk malfunction, they could easily fix it up and use it to shoot down planes "like taking candy from a baby."Russian news media gushed about the so-called "rebels" who will "guard the skies" with their new Buk system. Russian Twitter trolls, working in tandem with propagandists and the media, spread "happy news" about repaired Buk being ready for use as of July 14, 2014. 8 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 8Russian mainstream media often relies on unnamed social media users and self-proclaimed experts, without fact-checking any of their claims. Russia Today found someone claiming to be "Carlos," an alleged Spaniard, working as an air traffic controller in Kyiv's international airport, Borispol. Without ever fully identifying himself, "Carlos" Tweeted in Spanish that Ukrainian jets were following the passenger plane and shot it down. Numerous prominent news outlets picked up this ridiculous story, including television channel Russia 24, the Defense Ministry's Zvezda channel, Rossiiskaya Gazeta and Komsomolskaya Pravda. No one found it suspicious that a foreigner would be working in a Ukrainian airport and live-Tweeting ridiculous claims, while not speaking either Russian, Ukrainian or English languages (Russia Today had to interview him in Spanish). Minimal fact-checking would have revealed that Ukrainian authorities do not hire non-citizens of Ukraine as airport dispatchers, or even accept them for training as such. As usual, Russia Today was unperturbed by these minor details. On July 17, 2014 Russia Today acknowledged that the unidentified "Carlos" ran a fake Twitter account, which had been deleted. Two days later, on July 19, 2014, Russia Today again cited "Carlos" as their primary source in another article. 9 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 9Notorious Girkin birthed one of the most outlandish allegations, claiming that all of the passengers on the Malaysia flight were already dead, prior to the plane being shot down. To buttress this allegation, Russian media raised the question of why the passports of the victims appeared to be so clean, as though they were brand new. This red herring may indeed impress some people in Russia, where the passport has to be shown even when you're simply taking out the trash. This approach is drastically different from the West, where the passport is used mainly for international travel. Girkin likely borrowed this twisted tail of "corpses on a plane" from a British TV Series, "Sherlock." Girkin's lame attempt of convincing the world that his group of merry terrorists didn't murder hundreds of innocents, "because they were already dead," only magnifies their obvious culpability. 10 Julia Davis Photography Zoom in 10Russian propaganda is willing to do whatever it takes to sway popular opinion. Mark Sleboda, political analyst for Russia Today, tried to use Ukrainian kindness and compassion to favor Russia. He Tweeted a photograph taken at the makeshift memorial for the victims of MH17 in Kyiv, Ukraine - dishonestly claiming that it depicted Muscovites honoring the victims. While Russia's anti-Ukrainian propaganda alreadyreached unprecedented lows, its media fiasco with respect to the downing of a Malaysian airliner crossed over any remaining boundaries. Suspension of disbelief simply cannot stretch that far.
