Friday was the fourth day of the Israeli air offensive against the Gaza Strip and the number of dead and injured continues to rise. More than 100 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory so far as a result of the Israeli military's Operation Protective Edge. The Israeli army says Hamas, which governs Gaza, is using civilians as "human shields".
