The idea that a US court has the authority to adjudicate in a case between the Argentinian government and US financial institutions, and thereby cause the collapse of the Argentinian economy is ludicrous, particularly, since the US courts today are widely recognized the most corrupt in US history, particularly in matters pertaining to banking! Over the past decade, the State of Israel has been moving along similar paths, but in contrast with towering figures such as Stiglitz and Krugman, the Israeli intelligentsia fails to sound the alarm... OccupyTLV, June 29 - in 2001, Argentina showed "a decline without parallel". The economic collapse of Argentina wiped out the middle class and raised the level of poverty to 57.5%. Millions in Argentina were thrown into unemployment, poverty and hunger. That, after being Latin America's star in the 1990s The collapse of the Argentinian economy puzzled many.... But others offered explanations: In his book "Globalization and Its Discontent", none other than Nobel prize winner Joseph Stiglitz raised the suspicion that the collapse of the Argentinian economy was the handiwork of Stanley Fischer (today No 2 at the Federal Reserve), in his capacity as a senior officer of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Stiglitz raised the concern that Fischer engaged in treachery at the service of US agencies. Others state it more clearly: Central to the collapse was the implementation of neo-liberal policies which enabled the swindle of billions of dollars by foreign banks and corporations. And now, we may see the same spectacle again... A ruling by a US judge in the US court in Manhattan, in favor of a US hedge fund, is likely to cause the collapse of the Argentinian economy again. Corruption of the courts in the United States is central to the current socio-economic crisis Corruption of the state and federal courts in the United States has long been recognized as a central cause of the current socio-economic crisis. Suffice is to read the opinion of another Nobel prize winner, Paul Krugman, regarding the role of the corrupt US justice system in the socio-economic crisis, engulfing the US since 2008: " ...a system in which only the little people have to obey the law, while the rich, and bankers especially, can cheat and defraud without consequences." And legal experts are more specific - attributing the corruption of the courts to fraud of unprecedented scale in the filing of corrupt banking and judicial records. In a special report by Reuters, Raymond Brescia, a visiting professor at Yale Law School opines, "...it's difficult to find a fraud of this size on the U.S. court system in U.S. history... where you have literally tens of thousands of fraudulent documents filed in tens of thousands of cases." The Human Rights Alert (NGO) report to the Human Rights Council of the United Nations was incorporated into the 2010 Periodic Review Report regarding Human Rights in the United States with the note: "corruption of the courts and the legal profession and discrimination by law enforcement in California". Documenting fraud in the California courts in banking and real estate matters was a main focus of the report. The creation of fraudulent, simulated records in entire litigation concerning corruption of banking and banking regulation was detailed, for example, in the landmark litigation of SEC v Bank of America Corporation , under US Judge Jed Rakoff, in the same US District Court in Manhattan. The case reflects the lack of integrity of the US courts electronic record systems in general. The result of such system has been the robbery of individual homeowners, shareholders, and the public coffer at a level unparalleled in human history. Worse yet, a 1997 document, written by Timothy Geithner (a Wall Street/US government revolving door figure), and leaked only last year, which is widely referred to as "The End Game Memo", was interpreted by analysts as evidence that the entire banking crisis was deliberately manufactured by the US-led banking cartel. But all of this is irrelevant for the millions of Argentinians, who are most likely doomed to relive the catastrophe of the previous decade, pawns in the hands of US bankers and hedge funds. All under the stamp of corrupt US justice... In Israel - more of the same Some of the same figures, most notably Stanly Fischer, during his tenure as Governor of Bank of Israel, have established similar policies in the State of Israel over the past decade as well. The results, not surprising, are unprecedented growth in poverty, and the creation of extreme distribution of income and assets. In parallel, the evidence shows unprecedented corruption of the banking system, of banking regulation, and the courts. In the Israeli courts, the common tool of the corruption is generating fraudulent court records as well. The Human Rights Alert (NGO) report to the Human Rights Council of the United Nations was incorporated into the 2013 Periodic Review Report regarding Human Rights in Israel with the note: "lack of integrity of the electronic record systems of the Supreme Court, the district courts and the detainees courts in Israel." The report documented the implementation of fraudulent electronic record systems in the Israeli Supreme Court starting in 2002, under the tenure of Aharon Barak as Presiding Justice and Avi Dichter as Head of Shin-Bet (like the US Secret Service, the Shin-Bet is charged with the safeguard of State information systems). Presiding Justice Aharon Barak is a well known figure in the United States. Judge Richard Posner's review of Barak's book "The Judge in a Democracy ", is titled, "Enlightened Despot". And Judge Posner is surprised to find himself in agreement with Robert Bork's assessment in reviewing the same book, that Barak "establishes a world record for judicial hubris." In contrast, Justice Elena Kagan referred to Barak as "my judicial hero". The conduct of Aharon Barak in his capacity as Presiding Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court, as documented in the Human Rights Alert 2013 report, is indeed despotic, but far from enlightened. It undermined democracy in Israel and set the stage for unprecedented corruption of the Israeli courts over the following decade and to this date. The relationship between corruption of the courts, the banks, and the socio-economic crisis in Israel is best documented in large-scale fraud perpetrated in the Debtors' Courts. However, other courts - up to the Israeli Supreme Court - today patronize the fraud by banks, attorneys, and magistrates in the Debtors' Courts, through the issuance of simulated, fraudulent judicial records and the conduct of fraudulent, simulated litigation. The petition Ashkenazi+76 Others v Minister of Justice and Director of the Debtors' Courts (2300/11), where today's Supreme Court Presiding Justice Asher Grunis has been conducting simulated litigation for over three years, provides unique evidence in this regard. In parallel, the Israeli courts provide their stamp of approval to huge "haircuts" by tycoons, which decimate the savings of the small investors. And in contrast with towering figures, such as Stiglitz and Krugman, the Israeli intelligentsia - law, economics, and computer science professors - fail to sound the alarm...
