03 July 2014 A police car, which was attending to a request for assistance, was this afternoon involved in a crash with another car in St Julian's. The police car was going too fast to brake in time, as it turned from Gort Street into the Mikiel Anton Vassalli regional road, and crashed into the back of a Fiat Uno. The police car hit the car in the back, and then veered straight into a centre-strip on Mikiel Anton Vassalli road, towards the direction of St Andrew's. Although no one was seriously injured in the collision, the policeman driving the vehicle was taken to hospital after feeling faint in the immediate aftermath of the crash.
