While in Seattle on the 4th of July, I observed this heavily intoxicated woman who was so drunk, she could not even stand up. According to observers, she had been in this condition for about an hour and a half. They also reported that SPD had made contact with her, and left. I can neither confirm nor deny either report. After she finally was able to stand...sort of, she got on her mobility device and "drove" off. It made me curious....if one could get a DUI for driving a motor vehicle, and OUI for riding a horse or bicycle, or BUI for operating a boat - while intoxicated - would this be considered some type of driving or operating, while under the influence?
