The would-be hijackers were driving a white BMW. A struggle ensued between the hijackers and the driver. They then try force the driver into the getaway car but he successfully breaks free and seeks help. Men fired two shots in their unsuccessful attempt to steal the vehicle and then fled the scene. No one was hurt during the incident. Police bulletproof vests, reflector jackets, a blue light and two R5 rifles were subsequently recovered in an abandoned vehicle.
