The current context of world politics allows any sane and objectively thinking person to assess that Nazi Germany was quite literally the most ineffective yet overrated nation ever to exist on this planet except current Germany. Here are the stats: Hitler reigned about 5 years until 1938 and was considered an economic Magician for helping Germany's economy achieve full employment after the country was raped in WWI. The facts: To grow a failed economy, like the totally failed German post WWI economy is anything but a miracle. When you have already hit rock bottom, you can only go upwards. All Hitler did was to institute Jewish Fritz Todt to build the Autobahn and give Germans something to obsess over for some time. The Autobahns were later used by the Allies to quickly travel within Germany. Thus they helped take over that country. Germany was so weak economically (despite the propaganda), that even the Soviet Union had a ratio of 5:1 in terms of tanks compared to the Germans. Next consider that Putin, who is considered somewhat similar to Hitler by some, has achieved the exact same thing for Russia. Within about 15 years of his reign in Russia, he has managed to make Russian economy work again, based on Oil. In other words, he outlasted Hitler by about 10 years and has done the exact same thing with more success. Next, if Germany had not carried out a holocaust of its opponents, it would officially be considered the greatest failure in world history. The German state has achieved absolutely nothing, except a permanent infiltration of half of Poland and half of France, right before being annihilated by the Allies. The holocaust is nothing compared to the huge (inofficial) death toll of Germans. Conservative inofficial estimates believe that around 25million people of German origin were killed in WWII. Last but not least, Nazi Germany lasted about 5 years against an international coalition (Allies.) Even the Afghan Taliban far outlasted such an international. The usual German excuse is "wouahoho it was a different kind of war". Unfortunately for Germans that excuse does not stand even the most careless examination. The Nazis launched the so called Werewolf Project, which was a similar set up as the Taliban operatives have in Afghanistan. Yet even the Werewolves were wiped out like nothing. In other words, rather than do what the Afghanis (a third world nation) have done, and to fight until the occupiers have to leave, the Germans were easily overpowered and divided between East and West, much like Poland at the outset of the war. These are just some of the facts that make Nazi Germany the greatest failure in political world history.
