Meng Wang of Queens, New York, was bitterly disappointed when she plunked down $7.64 in a local drugstore for a pair of tights that she assumed would send her on an endless orgasm cycle. However, Wang is not apparently versed in the images presented in advertising versus the crushing disappointment of the products once you get them home. When the Kushyfoot Shaping Tights didn't immediately send Wang into the pleasure dome upon purchase, she decided to file suit against the manufacturer Gildan Outerwear. Gothamist obtained a copy of her complaint and it is really something to behold. The lengths to which Wang describes the pleasure with which she was denied sounds like it was ripped from an episode of "Red Shoe Diaries." "As she makes her way through the streets, she moans and utters highly sexually charged phrases to herself, including 'That's the spot' and 'So good,' as a song with the lyrics "I feel super satisfied, super satisfied" plays in the background to further the sexual angle of the advertisement." the suit claimed, describing the depiction of an actress in the commercial. "Towards the end of the commercial, the woman opens her eyes to find herself surrounded by a group of excited women fascinated with knowing her secret to feeling orgasmic on city streets..." the suit continued. Damn. Contrast this with the suit's kicker, which delineates the brutal moment reality came crashing in for Wang. "Plaintiff WANG relied on the commercial and believed in the effectiveness and comfort of the Products. To her disappointment she found that the Purchased Products did not even feel different from her regular socks and tights." Wang is going to be super bummed out when she goes to purchase Geico insurance only to find that an animated, talking gecko isn't selling her coverage.
