Following a possible tactical retreat from the Nassib Crossing into Jordan, the Syrian Army captured the main road from Daraa to Suwayda and have cut off Al-Nusra insurgents from Jordan intent on attacking Damascus. Insurgents now trapped in the Southern part of Daraa are subject to multipule Dive Bombing Planes while those above the cut off point have no chance of reinforcements or supplies. Many Vehicles have been destroyed and hundreds of demoralized Rodents have been illuminated. Large American Bombers have been seen flying over the area. If the Insurgents fail to re-enter Jordan they will have no other option for escape other than to try and pass by two over looking Mountains near the Daraa Border crossing into the West where Syrian forces are enjoying easy Artillery and Sniper shots at passing traffic. The taking of this main road between Daraa and Suwayda has also made it far easier for the Army to resupply and virtually impossible for Al-Nusra and all other Al-Quada affiliates to remain in the Province. In a statement, the General Command said that this achievement clears and secures the vital route between Daraa and Sweida province, and at the same time cuts off terrorist organizations' supply lines as it closes off the crossing point of al-Lajjat which terrorists had been using to smuggle mercenaries, weapons, and ammo from Jordan to the Badiye desert and to the Easter Ghouta area in Damascus Countryside. The General Command said this success is a severe blow to terrorist organizations and will pave the way towards eliminating terrorist hotspots in the area, vowing to continue pursuing terrorists across the country until they are eliminated completely.
