Ocala, FL - Three people who smashed their way into a cellphone store left empty-handed Tuesday morning. Surveillance video shows that around 4:25 a.m., a vehicle pulled into the parking lot and stopped in front of Five Star Cellular, 1202 SW 17th St. Two minutes later, a brick was thrown through the front glass door, and then three people entered the business and ran in different directions. While inside, the trio kicked the office door and tried to open doors; however, they were not successful, according to an Ocala police report.The three ran out a minute later. The suspects, who wore gloves and had some type of hoods or cloth covering their faces, appear to leave without taking anything.
