Philadelphia, PA - On July 31, 2015, at 8:25 pm, an unknown male wearing a mask entered the German Grocery Store located at 2267 North 16th Street armed with a silver handgun. When the suspect attempted open the door to the enclosed register area, an employee, a 48 year-old male, pulled a baseball bat causing the suspect to flee the store on foot and was last seen south on the 2200 block of 16th Street toward Susquehana Avenue. Nothing was taken from the store. Suspect Description: Black male, thin build, wearing a dark colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, black/ yellow bandana, and armed with a handgun.
