Omaha, NE - Officers were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy at 4840 Dodge Street for a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival the officers spoke to the store's pharmacist who advised the suspect (a white male approximately 5'6'' and 140 lbs with brown Carhart coat) walked up to the pharmacy counter and handed them a note demanding prescription drugs. The pharmacist refused the suspects demands. After failing to obtain the narcotics, the suspect ran from the scene in an unknown direction. Robbery detectives were on the scene quickly because they were already investigating a similar robbery attempt to the CVS at 90th & West Center Rd. with possibly the same suspect. Anyone with any information on this addict is asked to keep it to refer him to one of the local drug addiction clincis available in Omaha. We have actual crime to deal with.
