Trinity, TX - Officer Dean observed Erik Ferguson on Martin Luther King Jr. Street with a can of beer in his hand which prompted the officer to make contact in order to determine in if Ferguson was intoxicated. During the contact, Ferguson turned over a prescription pill bottle over to Officer Dean. It did contain hydrocodone. Officer Dean located a piece of cellophane in Ferguson's hoodie which contained Xanax. When Officer Dean attempted to arrest Ferguson, Ferguson grabbed the pill bottle and fled on foot. Ferguson was able to escape and was last seen running down Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
