Transgender and transsexual porn stars sure have it rough. If you ask them, that's what they'll say, anyway. Well Cosmopolitan magazine did just that. Chelsea Poe, a 24-year-old budding porn star (above) is among them. She's upset that she's treated more like a fetish than as an actual woman. It might be the fact that she has a penis...but I could be wrong. She says, "I don't want trans women to be a niche. I want trans women to be in lesbian porn. I want trans women to be in straight porn. I want trans women to be treated just like any other women in porn." She seems to fail to realize that when your penis is used in your films, often being asked to take Viagra so that it can stay erect (to counteract the estrogen hormones you take), you might just be seen as "a dude with tits" rather than "a chick with a dick". First world problems. She's also upset with terms like shemale and tranny, which are used to market adult films that star transgender women. She doesn't offer any alternative terms to use, but if her comment above is any sign, she probably just wants to be called a woman. The fact this woman has a penis is irrelevant. As an occasional purveyor of the pornographic arts, myself. I get a tad upset when I see a hottie and get all hot and bothered waiting for the girl-on-girl scene to start...only to then be slam dunked when a bouncing winky makes an appearance. That, my friends, is what's called a trap. As for the use of Viagra, Chelsea says, "What ends up happening is a lot of trans women in porn have to go off hormones to perform. And obviously doing that is super harmful to your body. It's like going through puberty again." Spouting like an entitled progressive feminist, she continues, "I'm a woman. If you like my porn, you're liking a woman's porn. Fetishization is about an object. We are not objects - we're women, we're people." To give in to Chelsea's wishes, you'd have to view watching transgender or transsexual porn as regular porn, and not fetish porn. But then there's the glaring fact that if you're indeed watching it...and there's no surprises...BAM...you're a fetishist! Let me make crystal clear that I fully support LGBT rights and causes. I also fully realize that I speak for myself, and not necessarily for Sure News. But when it comes to my porn? I'd prefer to know what it is I'm about to defile myself to. Is that too much to ask? Does that change my support for them? At that time....uh...YEAH! Transgender and transsexual women and men have every right to be in porn. Don't get me wrong. But we...er...I as (a) viewer(s) have an equal right to know what we're/I'm about to see!
