Dallas, TX - On Wednesday, January 06, 2016, at about 5:25 a.m., five (5) masked, gloved, and hooded suspects backed a stolen 1996 Chevrolet Pickup through the storefront of the Dunlap Swain Texaco located at 4826 Cole Avenue. Several witnesses stated they observed a white pickup back into the building, pull out, and backed through the building again. Three to four suspects ran into the building. Shortly after, the suspects were seen running out of the building and the pickup fled south on Travis Street. The witnesses called 911 and officers responded to the location. The suspects in this offense were targeting the safe and were unsuccessful. The offense was aborted. This same vehicle was used in an ATM offense that occurred in Garland yesterday, January 5, 2015.
