Pueblo, CO - On February 8th around 4pm, two unknown suspects attempted to burglarize a home located in the 2000 block of Hollywood Avenue. The two suspects were described as Hispanic males ranging in age from 25 to 35 years of age. The first suspect, wearing a ball cap with sunglasses on the back of his head, proceeded to the front door of the residence where he knocked continuously for several minutes to see if anyone was home as these criminals commonly do. The second suspect, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt on with the hood pulled over his head. proceeded to the side of the home eventually making his way to the rear of the residence. Keeping in verbal contact, and with no response after knocking numerous times, the second suspect attempted to illegally and unlawfully enter the residence to burglarize the home through the rear of the residence. A vigilant neighbor, who knew that the residents were not home at the time, believed the suspects were attempting to burglarize the home. The observant neighbor intervened and made contact with the suspects, scaring them off and preventing his neighbor's home from being burglarized.
