Their windmills are being shut down because there is to much electricity on the grid. Their owners still get paid for the potential not produced power. That whole building of thousands of windmills with all their steel neodymium and concrete costs lots and lots of money,and wrecks the environment more than coal or gas powered plants would cost triple that with (CO2 free) nuclear fuel powered production. Windmills are just stupid on a large scale,we need wind to move air through our cities and the world as a whole,slowing down the wind on a large scale is really bad.
