Horn challenge and Trucker fails

United States President Barack Obama is the most admired foreign leader in Africa because he has ancestral roots in our continent. This is partly the reason his ill-informed and stereotypical admonitions of our leaders attracted cheers from a large section of our elite class. But it is also because we African elites have internalised the ideology of our conquerors that presents us as inferior, inadequate, and incapable of self-government. Bob Marley's words that we must liberate ourselves from mental slavery are important here. In his speech to the African Union in Addis Ababa on Tuesday, Obama acted like a colonial headman lecturing the natives on how to behave as good subjects. Yet behind Obama's seeming concern for our good lies the social contempt he holds us in. Flagrant hypocrisy Why doesn't Obama openly admonish leaders of Western Europe whenever he visits their countries? Is it because they govern better? Who has the right to make this judgement and by what criteria? There is a lot of corruption and widespread human rights abuses (especially of migrant minorities) in Western Europe - not to mention the brutality, genocides, forced labour, and racism that characterised their governance of Africa during colonial rule. The difference between Africa and these nations is that we are poorer in material possessions. But does their present wealth imply better governance? To use Jean Bricmont's analogy from his book Humanitarian Imperialism, the US and Western Europe behave like a mafia godfather who, as he grows old, decides to defend law and order and begins to attack his lesser colleagues in crime, preaching brotherly love and the sanctity of human life - all the while holding onto his ill-gotten wealth and the income it generates. Who would fail to denounce such flagrant hypocrisy? In any case, is the US such a model country in governance to give Obama the moral authority to lecture Africans? In the US, a black person is killed by the highly militarised police force every 28 hours. Scores of black people in the US are stopped and searched every minute for no other reason than the colour of their skin. Blacks constitute 12-13 percent of the US population but 43 percent of its prison population. Although there are only 33 million blacks in the US, there are one million (nearly four percent) of them in jail. Indeed, the incarceration rate of blacks in the US is 10 times that of blacks in apartheid South Africa. According to Michelle Alexander's book, The New Jim Crow, there are double the number of blacks in jail than in college. There are more black people in jail today than were enslaved in 1850; and more blacks are disenfranchised today than in 1875, when the 15th amendment prohibiting discrimination in voting rights based on race was passed. In Obama's hometown of Chicago, the total population of black males with a felony record is 80 percent of the adult black male workforce. The 48 countries of sub-Saharan Africa Obama admonishes have a combined population of 961 million and their total prison population is 830,000. If sub-Saharan Africa jailed its people at the same rate as the US jails its black population, we would have 38.4 million people in jail. Dehumanising Africans But these are not the only state abuses in the US. There are mass surveillance programmes that allow the federal government to eavesdrop on almost every communication of American citizens and allies, the indefinite imprisonment without trial and torture of suspects in Guantanamo Bay and other illegal detention facilities around the world. The corruption of Washington and Wall Street - where corporate profits are privatised and losses nationalised - goes without saying. Steven Biko, a hero of the anti-apartheid struggle, said that the greatest weapon in the hands of an oppressor is never his guns and armies, but the mind of the oppressed. Invading sovereign nations and toppling their governments while leaving chaos in their wake, the large scale use of drones which kill innocent civilians in Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan are the kind of crimes the US commits. This is not an argument of two wrongs making a right. Rather it is to show that Obama's choice to lecture Africa is a product of the social contempt he and his countrymen and women have for black people. Many African leaders do not treat their people with the cruel contempt with which the US treats its black citizens. True some of our leaders use the police against their political rivals. But the US uses its police daily against innocent poor black people who are not even contesting for political power from the white financial, industrial, and military aristocracy that rules that country. Why dehumanise them? Lecturing Africans Contrary to Obama's self-appointed role as the secular priest of good governance, Africans fight for more freedom, democracy, and clean government daily. And in these struggles, the US has consistently sided with our oppressors. It was complicit in the murder of Patrice Lumumba, supported apartheid South Africa against Nelson Mandela and his African National Congress (ANC, whom it declared terrorists), financed the terrorist organisation National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA), and propped up incompetent and corrupt tyrants like Mobutu, Samuel Doe, and Siad Barre. Instead of coming to lecture, Obama should have had the humility to come and apologise to Africans for his country's sadistic adventures on our continent. Indeed, Obama has no moral right to lecture Africans on democracy, human rights, and clean government because his country has been sponsoring corrupt and cruel policies against black people at home and thieving tyrants on our continent. If there are weaknesses in our governance they are ours to struggle against and overcome. Steven Biko, a hero of the anti-apartheid struggle, said that the greatest weapon in the hands of an oppressor is never his guns and armies, but the mind of the oppressed. This was clear from the assembled African elites in Addis Ababa who were cheering Obama as he presented himself as the altruist advising our leaders on how to lead us better. Like all imperial powers before it, the US seeks to dominate the world in order to exploit it. This is how it sustains her greedy consumption. But to disguise its intentions, the US rewrites history, employs selective indignation, and chooses arbitrary priorities to present its selfish agenda. Obama being of African ancestry is the best puppet the US uses to disguise its contempt for Africans. But the best he can do is to mind his own business and let us mind ours. Africa to Obama: Mind your own business

Warning: This article may be upsetting to anyone who blindly supports law enforcement, regardless of facts or commonsense. Ray Tensing, a University of Cincinnati police officer, was recently indicted for murder for the shooting death of yet another unarmed man. According to Tensing, he was in fear for his life. This is something we hear all too often when the police needlessly take another person's life. If police are always using the line, "I was in fear for my life", there must be a lot of police officers being killed at the hands of murdering citizens, right? Well, not exactly. Here is where the blind support of killer cops fail the 'facts and commonsense' test. According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, they list 68 officers who have been killed in the line of duty (as of 7/30/2015). However, only 20 officers were actually killed at the hands of someone else - 17 by gunfire and 3 by 'vehicular assaults'. The rest died from heart attacks, falling off ladders, being shot by fellow cops during training exercises, crashing their cruisers, etc. Though there are approximately 1 million law enforcement officers in the United States, only 20 have died this year after being killed by 'the bad guys'. On the flip side, 671 people have been killed by cops so far this year. In fact, the average police is 33.5 times more likely to kill someone, than to be killed (to date). The blind support of police, even when presented by hard facts, has to stop. We must start holding police accountable for their actions. If they are not held accountable, I wouldn't be surprised if police started shooting cashiers at McDonald's. With their logic, they would be justified. After all, 11 officers have already been "killed" this year by heart attacks.

A message to all likeminded live leakers. A light-heatered laugh on Thursday. I'm my short time here, I have enjoyed the educated discussion and truth finding in recent events, but alas there are people who will do anything to undermine the truth, or common sense reasoning, because is doesn't fit within their own mindset. Occasionally you will come across a person who cannot comprehend, that what they think, might not be actually the truth. There follows such a finding. Feel free to comment of how you perceive and read such events. Your input to the conversation will be enlightening and intriguing. As you can see in the following image, the simple request of being alerted to the original headline when it appears in a High-brow news source, is met with a curt reply of "the Guardian is a valid news source". My reply to this, as the level of grammar dictates, "well if he has mentioned the Guardian, surely they must have followed this story to which I am unaware of", so the natural response being, "Link to the Guardian". Which was a clear question, not belittling, not insulting, no trolling. What the poster then fails to realise, even though that said article does indeed state later in the article "according to the Guardian" three quarters dow the page, what the Guardian is actually "according to", is a story about Putins popularity, not what the original post here is headlined as. There seems to be much confusion about the basic understanding of this by person in particular, and as a result has continued to avoid this simple request, fail to see where he made a mistake and what has followed after, it a tirade of insults, to which are quite reminiscent of Dawkins hate-mail, it's amusing, and quite a laugh to read. Enjoy, the replies, it's good therapy. @TreCool How does it feel to be as useless as your shity naval ships? @TreCool So you left when I posted this hoping people won't see your shite replies. But you know how it goes people who constantly copy and paste replies, know they have lost. You failed, and keep failing... your life is so bad you have to keep trying to win..... so you can show your kremlin overlords that you have been a good putler for the day. Me I have a good job, money, and no worries. You, try too hard, unable to understand English, proven above that you read things that were not there, and so on. Sucks to be you kiddo, sucks to be you. And you deleted posts on your wall.... awwwwwww diddums, did the grown ups make you cry that you deleted posts that show how dumb you are.... dawwwwwwwww poor baby. @TreCool You sound like a nagging wife. I have read the story too in my newspaper. @TreCool Why do you lie about who you are? @TreCool I told you why your reading comprehension sucks... Now if I meant it the way you think, I wouldn't have posted the 2nd reply telling you what was in the article. So as you can see no matter how many times you bring up the same sorry sad excuse, you are wrong. Maybe we shall link it, for others to decide if your reading skills are sub par or not? @TreCool Even the more experienced Putlers are facepalming your desperate posting. How sad. @TreCool Copy and Pasting huh... Awwwwwwww here is your dummy tit Putler... While you think you have won... consider this.... why do you lie about who you are? When you are clearly not British. Try again Putler.... Uncle Vlad might be pleased this time and allow you suck on his dick, while you cry your tears at the same time, saying "thank you uncle vlad, let me taste your dick cheese, you big hunk" @TreCool Like I have said before I answered you, but it wasn't the answer you wanted, because your inferior life needs you to try and win an online argument to try and feel better about yourself. 200 roubles a week huh, if you were really a British citizen, you get way more than that per week. @TreCool Still on the same argument which you clearly lost huh... how sad it is you have to look for me on here and post that to try and drum up support from your fellow Vlad Dick Cleaner crew. Poor little Putler. Here follows a different version of event, this really is a little embarrassing, but also very funny. Allpologies to @zuesdog for being dragged into this.

If the Casimir Effect/ Casimir Force is real, then Einstein was wrong about gravity. The Casimir Effect is a known, proven and verifiable phenomenon. (Google Peer Reviews and Lab Tests, Physics Demonstrations, etc) Ships on a rough see get pushed together because of an analog version of the Casimir Effect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-GnwnEnLCA Micro and nano circuitry have to account for Casimir forces or the plates will short out. Einstein said gravity is not a force... but rather gravity = the curvature of space. So, by Einstein's own logic and equations, The Casimir Effect can't exist because it would create an infinite curvature of space at which point all matter and energy would fall to 1 point instantly and destroy the material universe... Fail. You'll have to research the contradictions between Einy and the Casimir Effect yourselves. Einstein said space is empty which forbids the existence of electricity on a macro scale in space since there is no "medium" accounted for. (but there is) Casimir Effect proves Einy wrong in a number of ways. (There are plenty of others who put Einy to shame) You'll also have to research the contradictions between Einy's model for gravity verses Newton's. Relativists constantly try and interject Newton's model in Einstein's where it doesn't apply in hopes to save the doomed theory of space curvature. Why do people support Einstein anyway? Most people put him on an infallible pedestal without even doing a lick of research. Plasma Cosmology perfectly accounts for the observable phenomenon falsely credited to "gravitational lensing". There is no need for unsubstantiated, bogus curved space theories that even Newton would have laughed at. Poor Nikola Tesla is rolling in his grave... Military operations recently launched against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) as well as remarks by a leading ruling party figure implying that a pro-Kurdish party often accused of being affiliated with the PKK (with no proof, and only claims of an inorganic relationship by the AKP, and typical b.s. from MHP) could be closed down may well be part of a government plan to carry the acting ruling party to power in a possible early election. After criticizing the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) for failing to condemn the recent PKK violence, Mustafa Sentop, deputy chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), said on Sunday political parties can be closed down only for one reason in Turkey, namely being linked to a terrorist organization. The AK party lost a significant number of voters to the HDP in the predominantly Kurdish Southeast in the June 7 election. This was a large blow to the AK Party as it failed, for the first time since coming to power in 2002, to win enough seats in Parliament to form a single-party government. "I feel this is part of a strategy to come to power as a single party," Seyfettin G"ursel, the director of Bahcesehir University's Center for Economic and Social Research (BETAM), told Today's Zaman. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was accused by the opposition of trying to block efforts to forge a coalition government after the election, is also widely claimed to be seeking an early election. Taking the military operations and the targeting of the HDP by the government as a sure sign of an early election, G"ursel added, "The AK Party could trying to close down the HDP if it feels it will not be able to push the HDP below the election threshold." Recent election --- Now (polling, freaking out AKP) --- The government may also be hoping that the bombing against the PKK, which started after the PKK murdered several security officials, would help the AK Party win back some of the nationalist votes that drifted to the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) in the latest election. Until recently, the government has been adopting a "tolerant" attitude towards PKK activity in Turkey, which led some nationalist voters to turn their backs to the AK Party. "I feel the operations against the PKK are aimed at winning back nationalist voters," G"ursel said. Should the AK Party -- which currently has 258 seats in Parliament -- obtain 18 more seats in an early election, it will be able to form a party without needing a coalition partner. Speaking to reporters in Berlin on Sunday, the AK Party's Sentop accused HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtas of failing to condemn the PKK violence despite talking about peace."There is only one reason for political party closures in Turkey, which is parties having relations with terrorist organizations. A party's open call to terrorism and violence and having relations with terrorist organizations is a reason for its closure," he added. Demirtas has criticized the PKK's revenge killings, urged restraint and expressed that "Every single human being killed in Turkey gives us the same pain." Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Monday in televised remarks that he is against party closures in principle. "As a party which has 80 seats in Parliament, The HDP should give up acting like the mouthpiece of the terrorist organization. It should defend politics, not weapons. They are asking would the PKK lay down arms on what the HDP says. You should say this. In principle, we support punishment of those whoever involved in a crime, not parties as a whole," Davutoglu said. Erdogan and the government are perhaps anticipating that the public would prefer a single-party government that could more easily tackle security problems during a period of crisis. To that end, they try and control the Internet --- If the HDP fails to pass the 10 percent election threshold and remained outside of Parliament, the AK Party would then receive a great majority of the HDP's seats, which would enable it to come to power as a single party. Several pro-government media outlets also recently accused HDP deputy Faysal Sariyildiz of picking up a courier heading for Suruc, a predominantly Kurdish town on the Syrian border, who was allegedly carrying weapons for the PKK.In a statement on Sunday, Sariyildiz denied the claim and said he would begin legal proceedings against the media outlets. He argued President Erdogan and the government are engaged in a defamation campaign against the HDP and have put a plan into action that will drag the country into a quagmire by fomenting chaos among the people. According to Sedat Laciner, a security analyst, President Erdogan is the main reason for the rise of tension in the country because it is Erdogan's own future that is at stake. Should the AK Party lose power, Erdogan and some of his associates could face sweeping charges of corruption and be called to account for claims of shady dealings, such as providing weapons to radical groups in Syria. While criticizing the government for having failed to prevent a deadly bombing attack in Suruc, HDP Co-chair Figen Y"uksekdag said during a meeting nearly 10 days ago, "We have the YPJ, the YPG and the PYD behind us. And we see no harm in declaring and defending that." The YPJ and the YPG, respectively, are female and male Kurdish fighters who are the armed wing of the PYD in Syria. The PYD is a Syrian offshoot of the PKK. Following the suicide bomb attack in the town of Suruc on Turkey's Syrian border last week in which 32 people lost their lives, the PKK killed several police officers and military personnel (ugh, no, not clear thinking), wounding several others in a number of attacks. The PKK attacks, reacting to the AKP's provocations, puts a definitive damper on an already stalled settlement process launched by the government in 2012 to put an end to the country's decades-old Kurdish issue. In support of Sentop's remarks about the HDP, Deputy Prime Minister Yalcin Akdogan underlined on Monday that those who are in politics need to give up any connections to terrorist organizations. In remarks obviously targeting the pro-Kurdish party, Akdogan said on Twitter: "Ideas of the most marginal kind can be expressed in politics . To impose these through the support of a organization would be taking democracy hostage. The nation and the law would not allow that." The HDP has long been criticized for not distancing itself enough from the PKK, but is separate. It has been widely claimed that Erdogan is hoping to regain, in an early election, some of the seats in Parliament that the right-wing MHP managed to receive after a narrow margin of victory in some Central and Eastern Anatolian provinces in the June election. In these provinces, the MHP won some 20 seats that it could have lost to the AK Party if the MHP had gotten some 5,000 to 10,000 votes less depending on the province. The HDP, which for the first time took part in an election as a party rather than through independent candidates, won 80 seats in Parliament with 13 percent of the vote. The AK Party currently has 258 deputies but 276 seats, representing an absolute majority in the 550-seat Parliament, are required to form a government. MHP leader Devlet Bahceli has also joined the choir by calling on the prosecutor's office of the Supreme Court of Appeals to take legal action against the HDP, urging for the closure of the party. In a statement released on Sunday, Bahceli, who criticized the HDP and the government over the recent PKK terrorist attacks, said: "The Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Prosecutor's Office should immediately intervene and take action against the politicians of Kandil who praise terrorists, abstain from condemning those who shed the blood of our martyrs and fail to distance themselves from terrorism." Many earlier pro-Kurdish parties, the HDP's predecessors, were closed down over trumped up reasons, using the power structure of the state to keep Kurds in second class status, fueling the calls by fair-minded people for social justice for Turkish minority communities. http://ift.tt/1D7uxCz http://ift.tt/1HWVFDw http://ift.tt/1ImU7j3 http://ift.tt/1JHZuu4 http://ift.tt/1HWVCYd http://ift.tt/1D7uyqe http://ift.tt/1HWVCYe http://ift.tt/1D7uxCC http://ift.tt/1HWVCYg http://ift.tt/1CZwTDZ ----- Exceptional statements: All Turkish people who are against war, should raise their voice. It's Erdogan's personal war for more power! Erdogan wants to have & win new elections & is sacrificing Turkish soldiers for votes. It's that simple. There's no war on ISIS. Ask Turkey what happened to this ISIS fighter who was 'arrested'... NATO wasn't created to keep Erdogan's seat. Kurds are NATO's allies. All the operations we have witnessed in the previous days have been ordered by the President's Palace. Erdogan seems determined to pave the way 4 new election, to discredit Demirtas & to force tactical votes to flee HDP Erdogan is stoking conflict w/ Kurds to try and make it impossible for HDP to be in the gov. Erdogan's aim is not to have a 'sustainable' war against IS, but corner his political opponents, the HDP! HDP took many Kurdish Sunni votes from AKP, so AKP has deceptively fought to establish the "HDP is PKK, PKK are terrorists" narrative. When Turkish state and PKK again go after each other, both will be weakened. Biggest winner in that scenario: IS and MB. Main loser: HDP and Peace. This is Erdogan seeking revenge for HDP victory at Turkish election & YPG's defeat of ISIS in Rojava. If PKK pursues a full confrontation against AKP, it will kill the HDP, which won a substantial support The AKP is aiming to come to power alone by intimidating the people. See also: http://ift.tt/1HWVCYh ---- BTW - this is not about the PKK. This is about the AKP and its bullshit.

US built aircraft are falling out of the sky at an astonishing rate as poorly designed aircraft and defective US manufacturing causes FOURTEEN aircraft to crash in just SEVEN months - an incredible 2 PER MONTH ========================================================================== The flights began last year. The government of the United States, eager to send a message, began flying aircraft on missions over Syria and was supported by its allies around the world. The message was one of intimidation and defiance: America is still a power to be reckoned with, and meddling in the Ukraine, Syria, and Iraq - particularly on human rights issues - is not appreciated. Now, after months of aggressive flying, America's overworked air force is falling out of the sky. On July 7, a Shaw AFB-based F-16C Block 50 Fighting Falcon crashed over Monck's Corner, Berkeley County, South Carolina. Luckily the pilot ejected safely. Four US combat planes crashed in a single month in May. Air Force Commanders attempts to demonstrate strength has backfired spectacularly and demonstrated weakness instead. In the past year, seven US military aircraft have crashed horrifically, and a further seven US built aircraft flying for other nations have suffered catastrophic failures. These have resulted in 21 US military deaths and six civilian injuries, and hundreds more killed in the other seven accidents, including a galling 141 deaths when a US built Indonesian Air Force Lockheed Hercules crashed during take-off from Soewondo Air Force Base, Medan. America's Air Force has been run at a high tempo, and the pace is catching up with an already-weary aircraft fleet. In addition, the poor management of supplies by US contractors and poor designs are affecting other air forces tragically. The toll in just the last seven months has been extraordinary: In addition to the fatal Hercules accident, three F-16 fighters have crashed. On 12th May, two US aircraft crashed: An F/A-18F Super Hornet and a Marine Bell UH-1Y "Venom" Huey resulting in six Marine deaths. Less than three days after the two US Air Force crashes, an MV-22B Osprey crashed and burned killing two Marines and injuring a further twenty. Later in May A U.S. Navy aviator ejected from a T-45C Goshawk, 'A', of VT-9, based at NAS Meridian, Mississippi, near runway 29 at Halsey Field, NAS North Island, California, with both pilot and airframe ending up in San Diego Bay. President Obama has decided to mount frequent shows of force to remind other countries of America's military power. Unfortunately for him, all of the USA's options for a show of force are dicey. America's military has suffered from neglect during the 2000s and early 2010s, the result of a weak economy that was unable to properly fund the armed forces. Armored vehicles, ships, and planes were inadequately serviced, and have even fell into disrepair. The vast majority of America's Air Force was built and operated by the way back in the 1970s, making the youngest of these 'backbone' planes over 30 years old. The F-16s", F-18," and Hercules" fighters and transport aircraft that crashed in the last month were all inherited from the 1980s. It's the same for America's NATO allies. One US built Greek F-16 crashed early this year, three US built F4 Phantoms of the Turkish Air Force have fallen out of the sky this summer and a US supplied Black Hawk helicopter was responsible for the deaths of four Colombian soldiers in June. Compounding the problem is the inability to replace older aircraft with new models. Since the end of the Cold War the United States has introduced the 'all-new' F-22 Raptor and claims to be on the verge of introducing the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. However the F-22 uses a processor designed in the 1970s and is no longer in production, the stealth characteristics have been compromised and the F-35 is suffering from gargantuan cost overruns, delays and constant reductions in capability. Russia on the other hand has recently introducted a new fighter design in the shape of the PAK-FA. China has developed two stealth fighters in secret, allegedly using designs and technology stolen from the F-35 program. America's other developments such as the F-15 Stealth Eagle strike fighter is merely a hasitly updated design dating to the late 1950s. Russia recently announced an aggressive program to modernize its armed forces, and pledged to spend $400 billion on new armaments, while the United States looks to cut costs of an ever increasing maintenance budget it simply cannot afford. And it's costing lives. America recently cut its initial buy of the new F-35 fighter, from a planned 3,100 to a mere 2,200. The troubled aircraft program is suffering from technical difficulties and massive cost overruns, and more cuts to orders are expected. Meanwhile the F-22 was capped at a pathetic 187 airframes, and of that five have already been destroyed in crashes, killing three pilots. Russia and China will likely buy more fighters down the road, while Washington continues to desperately keep its ancient air force flying and simultaneously fund the F-35 at the same time. Washington is caught between a rock and a hard place. America and its allies can no longer rely on older equipment to project an image of strength and power. But increasingly it cannot afford to replace that equipment with modern designs. Twenty-one military men and women serving their country have died, a tragedy regardless of nationality. But the upshot of this recent spate of crashes may be a more realistic view of American power by those wielding it. The US military is simply not ready for war - it's barely capable of sabre rattling.

NOW THIS WAS A POST LEFT BY HAYDEN IN THE BLOG SECTION ABOUT SITE RULES ....HAVE A GOOD READ..........THEN READ THE BOTTOM PART.............. You can be sure that the most common complaint on LiveLeak regards people's 'Freedom of Speech' or rather their interpretation of it anyway. Without fail someone will break the rules they agreed to abide by in joining the site and then complain we're stifling them. We're in our ninth year here on LL and people still don't seem to grasp a rather simple concept. You have freedom of speech in its truest sense here on LL, all we ask is you avoid certain language whilst sharing your brilliant insights in order to help us keep the site viable. Look at the rules you agreed to abide by, what part of them curtails your freedom of speech? You are still free to criticise any religion, political stance, brand of car you wish. Yes, I know pro-Muslim people claim we're pro-Jewish and pro-Jewish people claim we're pro-Muslim but that boils down to selective perception. You can post that you dislike a religion all you please but you dropping "kike" or "raghead" in there means we'll probably remove it if we find it and give you an infraction. Your freedom of speech, should you use terms we don't want on the site, is only being curtailed by yourself. We don't have rules regarding ideology. Many people want us to launch some kind of war on racism but it's not our place to do it. Who are we to tell people "stop being an ignorant dick"? We don't want to control or rule anyone, we want to have an awesome media site with an active and vibrant community. If you follow the rules it doesn't make you a sheep, it just means you support the site and what we're trying to do. If you find our rules oppressive just move off and find somewhere more to your liking. Making account after account to bitch about it isn't going to change things beyond cementing our opinion of you as someone we'll most likely never listen to. Think about what freedom of speech actually means. <<<Think about why we'd be interested in banning people from a site that relies on its members and viewers.>>>>> Use your brain before churning out what's practically become a meme from people so self entitled they think the world should revolve around them. Just think. <in this case many people might think oh no he has gone and copied other peoples stuff they have written but what i am doing is showing a copy of the true meaning of rules of websites.........providing a site with some form of entertainment along with the good ole giggle at anybody who then gets posted via video and then we have the rest of some of the members of liveleak shall we call it <sectioning out> that person by insulting him in comments for one and not only this but not properly thinking what it may do to other peoples familys if this specific video was seen by others....The stupidity of this so called human being is most outraging to see what kind of behaviour he has done on this site.infact i was one of those members that was with liveleak when it very first started...and i am the one pushed out of liveleak had my account banned and now made to feel like a jerk which i am not........NOW......if i am right in saying that if any member was to not treat liveleak in the right way and then post someone elses privacy onto the internet this is a full straight ban or a infraction punishment......so my question is why has this specific person not been removed for his actions on liveleak?why has he not got any infraction points for this behaviour??? instead of being a typical grass and then advertise this persons screename from liveleak then i will let you all figure it out for yourselfs.not forgetting that this thanks to this specific person has now made it partly public across liveleak which in my eyes is not acceptable behaviour on a website.Being as this person hasnt been punished in the proper way i deem to see it now my job to get this person removed or infracted for his stupid behaviour....but what i dont understand is why i was permanantly banned in the first place and then he gets to stay on this site...????? i am not a person with multiple personalities either i am actually a carer and actually have a life which in some cases not many other members have a proper one. "snap back to reality" Think about your actions before you go posting certain stuff.......let it be a lesson ...if the moderators are good enough on this site then this person who i am speaking about will be removed because i dont see why i was banned when i did not do anything towards this person UNTIL he then posted personal messages across a site.....i thank you for reading....Also moderators have also been informed of this certain person who has done this and yet i am the one being banned or removed from liveleak and i have not done a single thing wrong other than trying to back myself up which anybody else would do and secondly end up losing the plot because of some paranoid person who thought the messages were from hayden but infact he was sitting in his chair on the liveleak show so we all now know it was lies to provide himself more points on his page more stats on his page and yet he still is being let go or as they said in the comment section " to get away with it" its not acceptable and should be dealt with.......taking the video off his page was all good responces but this person has not been punished for this yet.....i would like to see some action taken on this matter...This account i have had to make again to explain this problem would no doubt be removed or something but i have no problems with hayden himself i was actually helping out with stuff when the liveleak show ison and i would to stay put where i am.....i dont intend to start any problems with anyone unless they cross my line ..........thank you for taking your time to read...

By: jironde on: 2:53 PM
For the past six weeks, an overarching concern for the Republican Party has been the impact that Donald Trump might have on the GOP primary election - particularly the damage he could do on the debate stage by turning an already unmanageable 10-candidate forum into a full-on circus. On Sunday, though, Trump himself gave one of the clearest examples yet of why his candidacy is doomed to fail, and why, if handled properly, the debate stage could be his Waterloo. Trump called in to CNN's State of the Union on Sunday morning to speak with host Jake Tapper. Much of the appearance was, in fact, more of a Trumpian soliloquy, which appears to be his favorite form of expression, than an interview. However, when Tapper was eventually able to interrupt him and press for some policy specifics, the cracks in Trump's facade quickly became evident. Trump has staked much of his campaign on his promise to solve what many of his supporters see as a major immigration crisis. As anyone serious about the issue of illegal immigration recognizes, there are at least 11 million undocumented workers in the U.S. right now, and rounding them up for deportation is not a viable option. Tapper asked Trump to expand on his policy beyond building a wall on the border. The host may have been hoping for a considered reply revealing Trump's detailed thinking on immigration. What he got was a sort of immigration-related word salad. "We're going to get the bad ones out," Trump vowed. "We have some really bad dudes who are here in this country and we're getting them out. We're sending them back where they came from." Tapper tried again. What about the 11 million already here? "The bad ones are going to get out. Then from that point on, we're going to look very, very strongly at what we do. And I'm going to formulate a plan that I think people are going to be happy with. But we're going to look very, very strongly at what we do." No really, what about the 11 million? "I'm gonna get rid of the bad ones fast, and I'm gonna send them back. We're not going to be putting them in prisons here and pay for them for the next 40 years." One more try. There will be millions left. What's your plan? "We're going to see what we're going to see," Trump finally said. "It's a very hard thing from a moral standpoint, from a physical standpoint, you don't get them out. At least 11 million people - I've heard the number's much higher... "We're going to take the high ground. We're going to do what's right. Some are going to have to go and some - Hey, we're just going to see what happens. It's a very, very big subject and a very complicated subject." He added, "The wall's going to be built. We're going to have a great border. People can come into the country legally, but not illegally, and the people that come in are going to be good people are going to be great people and I want that. That's very important to me." Tapper asked Trump for his thoughts on the mass shooting last week in a Louisiana move theater, with a follow up asking him whether he approves of policies that would make it more difficult for the mentally ill to obtain firearms. After declaring, "These are sick people. These are very, very sick people," Trump told Tapper that the problem wasn't easy access to guns, but the "mentality" of the people wielding them. "I'm a big second amendment person," Trump said. "I believe in it so strongly." "You need protection from the bad ones that have the guns. You take the guns away from the good people and the bad ones are going to have target practice." Pressed by Tapper to take a position on whether the mentally ill should be denied access to firearms, Trump declined to come out in favor of a ban. "I think that if a person is mentally ill and it's proven and documented you have to be extremely careful not to let them kill people," was as far as he would go. Referring to the shooter in Louisiana, who had a documented history of mental problems, Trump suggested that the problem was not that he was allowed to buy a gun, but that he hadn't been locked up in the first place. "He should be in an institution," Trump said. "He was a very sick puppy." The former reality TV star also jumped on the opportunity to attack Hillary Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner currently being pummeled by the ongoing investigation of her use of a private email server for her correspondence while Secretary of State. On Friday, the New York Times published a story claiming that two federal inspectors general had asked the FBI to open a criminal investigation into her handling of classified. That fact, however, didn't deter Trump from not only declaring Clinton a criminal, but also positing a Democratic conspiracy within the Justice Department to shield her. "What she has done is criminal. What she has done is criminal," he repeated. "I don't see how she can run. Because if the prosecutors, who are all Democrats by the way - that's part of the problem with fairness here, they're all Democrats so they're protecting her. But if you had an impartial prosecutor and they were honorable - and maybe they are -- we're gonna find out but what she's done is criminal." Asked by Tapper to outline exactly what he thought Clinton had done that was criminal, all Trump could manage was, "The whole email scandal. It's a scandal. And she's been protected." If any of Trump's potential debate opponents were watching, it should have been a very instructive few minutes. Even on Trump's signature issue, his policy positions are tissue-thin, and don't stand up to the lightest questioning. Why he begins to be required to answer substantive questions - and to defend his answers - in a forum he doesn't control, The Donald may just end up firing himself

Big Fail for Russian Navy Launching Missile in Sebastopol Harbour

Too bad it did not explode in the launch tube, would have made a more spectacular firework display. These ancient Soviet tubs is what Russia has to counteract modern NATO fleets. It appears the weapon system is more dangerous to Russians then the targets they aim at.

I know this is slightly old news, but I was unable to post this close to when it originally happened because the video was stuck on an SD Card and I couldn't remove it until we got home from our holidays a few weeks later. Hope it'll be of interest to some. I know the NASA official footage is more detailed and higher resolution, but this is another perspective, I've not seen any other civilian footage of this here. We visited Kennedy Space Centre 28th June 2015 and viewed the Falcon 9 Rocket Launch, taking supplies to the International Space Station. We were positioned at LC39 Observation Gantry, which is about close as a normal civilian can get to a Rocket Launch at KSC, about 3 miles from the pad. The video was shot with a Panasonic Lumix, from a cheap tripod, apologies for the bad focus sometimes and less than perfect tracking, I was trying to shoot the launch but not miss it myself. I missed the first couple of seconds of the launch because there was a significant audio delay on the tannoy countdown. The announcer had only just starting counting 10 down to 1 when the rocket actually departed. The second half of the clip was shot as the public were dispersing, I decided to hang around and continue shooting, as weird as it sounds, nobody realised that the rocket had actually exploded. It was only when the announcements came over the tannoy that it really sunk in. I know it seems obvious from the video, but many just assumed that was what a rocket looks like when it goes through the atmosphere.

In his speech in Tallahassee, Florida, on Monday denouncing the influence of lobbyists, Jeb Bush neglected to mention one critical detail: The event was organized by a powerful corporate lobbying group that has helped financially support his White House bid. Speaking at Florida State University, the former Florida governor derided what he called the capital city's "comfortable establishment" that leverages lobbying power to unduly shape public policy. "I was a governor who refused to go along with that establishment," Bush said. Bush was touting his clean-government credentials at a function organized by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, a private lobbying group for the state's business community. The Florida Chamber of Commerce spent nearly $200,000 lobbying Florida lawmakers last year, and the group's political committees have spent roughly $5.6 million to influence state elections since 2013. The chamber also employs a Florida lobbying firm -- composed of former government officials -- that is a top Bush campaign donor.

Russia is on a roll, but you would never know it reading the mainstream media This article originally appeared at Zhurnalistskaja Pravda . Translated by J.Hawk at Fort Russ . At the moment the internet is full of complaints about the mistakes and betrayals by the Russian government-it's a fashionable and well-paying enterprise. There's a national proverb-"thin tea for some, a small pearl for others"-it's always easy to find reasons to be dissatisfied. But we shall talk about the Kremlin's most recent accomplishments and how they are changing the global balance of power. 1. In Ufa Putin took India and Pakistan and got them involved in the Shanghai Organization integration processes. The Organization's countries now total over three billion people, and include more nuclear powers than NATO.Moreover, Russia acted as a peacekeeper because it insisted on a bilateral meeting between India and Pakistan which froze their diplomatic contacts a year ago after a border clash. 2. Russia is also acting as an intermediary between Iran and "the six", which will reduce Iran's sanctions burden and allow it more freedom to pursue own policies. Some are concerned that Iran might greatly increase its oil exports which will cause oil prices to drop further. First of all, it doesn't have the technical ability to do so, and new deposits require considerable time and investment to develop. Secondly, Iran itself is not interested in dumping of this sort. Moreover, benefits to Russia are plainly visible-Iran will be able to help Syria more actively (both countries are Russia's allies at this stage), and the US won't be able to continue lying about how the ABM system is being built against Iran, which makes its aggressive policies more evident. 3. Russia has cut in half the proportion of US Treasuries in its gold and currency reserves. 4. Russia has considerably reduced its foreign debt. It also reduced the debts of its state firms and has done so at a 10% discount.5. Russia increased its share of control over strategic state companies. 6. The Crimea group of forces has been strengthened. 7. Nearly all army units have had their combat readiness checked. 8. The army's rearmament is continuing apace. 9. LPR and DPR are now de-facto part of the ruble zone. While formally it's a bi-currency zone, 84% of all transactions are conducted in rubles. 10. LPR and DPR are developing their own banking system under joint oversight and in cooperation with South Ossetia. Once the process is complete, nobody will have to pay Kiev any taxes. 11. DPR and LPR have established centralized military commands. Anarchy has been put down, all military units are now under firm control. 12. DPR and LPR industry is being integrated with the Russian economy, dozens of firms are already working to fulfill Russian orders. 13. Many European corporations (especially German and Italian) are openly ignoring their own governments' sanctions, continuing to work with their Russian partners. 14. Russia has either entered into treaties or is continuing negotiations with several countries to implement currency swaps in order to conduct trade in national currencies without the use of the dollar. 15. The volume of new contracts with China alone is estimated at over one trillion dollars. 16. Russia has become one of the charter members of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, which is equivalent to, and is supposed to replace, the IMF and the World Bank. 17. The implementation of a an alternative Russo-Chinese payment system. 18. Ukraine's bankruptcy due to the shattering of bilateral industrial and economic cooperation with Russia is now evident. Ukraine is experiencing growing chaos and the Kiev's regime's hold on power is growing weaker. Euro integration propaganda has been discredit, only the mentally ill continue to believe it. This list is far from complete, there are many other items which I simply forgot or which it's too soon to discuss in public. Overall, Russia and China are building an alternative system of international relations which many have dubbed "alter-globalization" a while ago. Its motto is "Another World Is Possible." In a battle of two systems the better structured one will prevail. That's why Moscow and Beijing are establishing more empowering, more independent, and more just equivalents of nearly all Western institutions, their own versions of IMF, World Bank, NATO, OSCE, and many others. The next step, ideally, should be the integration of legislation and judicial systems, including the creation of international tribunals and arbitration courts as alternatives to ECJ, London Arbitrage, and The Hague. I understand that the couch experts would like everything to be done right now, immediately, a swift, global, and painless victory, but it's never like that. Any change requires time, and global change even more so. Especially since the leadership of China and Russia desire to soften the consequences of the US loss of global hegemony and its likely economic collapse as a result of another, even more severe, crisis. The ongoing processes are enormous, the efforts applied to advance them are colossal, and if someone can't notice them, it's only because of their own problems with eyesight and hearing. Source --- Some important developments the article did forget to mention--as they might come under the too soon, in no particular order: 1. The Turkish Stream! Russia has cancelled the South Stream project, and looks set to end gas transit through the now hopelessly unstable Ukraine; instead, bring gas through Turkey, and into Europe via Greece. This is an important strategical move, and for many reasons. Turkey has largely been shun by the EU, and there's been a few off-color comments by EU and US officials that suggest Turkey would never become an EU member. So this is a way of placing great power in Turkey's hands which messes with the balance of power, and raises a middle finger to the EU for delaying the South Stream project for so long. The EU won't be able to loom over Turkey anymore, and won't be able to attempt to dictate terms to Russia on gas transit from the Turkish route. Greece is a struggling economy now, largely due to the 2008 global financial crisis that robbed the entire western public of its wealth, and years of Austerity since as Greece tries to pay off the debt created by giving money to banks that were too big to fail. Passing the gas through Greece will be a nice little economic boost, giving cheaper energy, creating industry for the creation and operation of the gas, and giving some nice transit kick backs. Bulgaria and Ukraine are the biggest loser. Bulgaria loses what Greece and Turkey are set to gain. This just adds to a long line of projects that Bulgaria has missed out on because it suits an EU agenda to block them. For Germany, France and the UK to maintain their relative positions within the EU there must be weaker nations to stand on, and Bulgaria is one of those weaker nations that will never be allowed to grow. Gas was the reason western oligarchs were willing to support (and in fact drive) the New Ukraine project. Power players, like George Soros and Igor Kolomoisky, have always had their eyes on Naftogas. Diverting the gas away from Ukraine kills Naftogas. Every western nation and oligarch that invested in the destruction of Ukraine loses their money. This may very well bankrupt Soros, and that's great news for the entire world. 2. Mongolia was brought into the fold during Ufa. This wasn't touched on but it's incredibly significant. Mongolia is an immense region, with great potential. Like Pakistan and India, there's some long disputes between China and Mongolia, but they look set to work those out. Projects planned to go around Mongolia might begin to cooperate, creation greater regional stability and growth. The eastern gas pipe that was to go into China via the alps may now be negotated to pass through Mongolia, making it cheaper to construct and many economic benefits to Mongolia. Nothing has been said, but maybe the super fast train will also pass through Mongolia. 3. Russia is throwing a great deal of support Venezuela's way, in particular in the gas and oil development area. Venezuela is another one of those countries that the western investors go in and destroyed. 4. The agricultural renaissance. In response to sanctions, we know that Russia counter-sanctioned. This was a strategic move, rather than a vindictive response. With the counter-sanctions in place, Russia has been able to move forward with sweeping reforms, and looks set in just a few years to move from a food importing nation, to one that is not just self-sufficient (as a nation with as much land as Russia) should be, but very soon a food exporting nation. This is incredibly important, because it means counter-sanctions are permanent. When sanctions cease to exist in a real sense, the market for exporters will be gone. The will be no release for European farmers as the Russia market is gone. 5. The article touched on how much the Russians have reduced their US reserves, but not what they've been doing with it. Russia has been buying up good in historical quantities. This suggest at the very least an interest by BRICS nations (as they're all doing the same) to return to a gold backed economy. Feel that chill when you read that? Everyone in the west knows, deep down in their greedy little soul that a return from the imaginary Euro or USD to a currency backed by a real commodity spells the end for the western banking fantasy. 6. The New Silk Roads. This is a collection of projects that are going to shape the economic and cooperative direction of the SCO and BRICS nations over the next few decades. Of this, the most significant announcement is the high speed rail from Beijing to Berlin via Russia and Kazakhstan. This will allow the rapid transit of goods and people across land, effectively ending shipping from China into Europe. The US owns the sea, but is completely sidelined if nobody is using the sea. Train will be cheaper, faster, and safer than shipping.

A short List of Russian Successes Over the Past Few Months

Congress grills Kerry, Obama officials on Iran nuke deal Secretary of State John Kerry found himself on the defensive Thursday at a Senate hearing where he was hard-pressed to find support for the Iran nuclear deal from either side of the aisle -- and sharply sparred with Republicans who accused him of being "fleeced" and "bamboozled."..........YUP The Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing was the first on the controversial deal to lift economic and other sanctions in exchange for concessions of the Islamic state's nuclear program. With Congress taking up the deal and expected to vote on it sometime in September, the hearing underscored the deep resistance the Obama administration faces from both parties. "From my perspective, Mr. Secretary, I'm sorry ... I believe you've been fleeced," Committee Chairman Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told Kerry, claiming the agreement paves the path for Iran to eventually develop a nuclear bomb. Critics repeatedly suggested the Obama administration's negotiating team gave in to pressure from the Iranians on key points. They question whether sanctions indeed can be reinstated once they're lifted; whether Iran might be able to stall international inspectors; and whether Iran might be closer to a weapon once the deal expires. Sen. James Risch, R-Idaho, said: "You guys have been bamboozled." Kerry, though, vigorously defended the agreement, calling it "fantasy, plain and simple," to think the United States failed to hold out for a better deal at the bargaining table. "Let me underscore, the alternative to the deal we've reached isn't what I've seen some ads on TV suggesting disingenuously," he told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. "It isn't a quote better deal, some sort of unicorn arrangement involving Iran's complete capitulation." Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz also said the deal is not "built on trust." Some lawmakers tried to play referee when the hearing got heated. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., said the remarks from Corker and Risch were "disrespectful and insulting." "If you were bamboozled, the world has been bamboozled -- that's ridiculous," Boxer told Kerry. Kerry still had to contend with skeptical Democrats, notably Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., who questioned whether the language in the deal is tough enough and like Corker said the deal aids Iran in building an "industrial-scale" nuclear program. Kerry earlier warned that Iran will not come back to the negotiating table to pursue a new deal, voicing frustration that: "We've got 535 secretaries of state." The hearing comes as lawmakers raise new concerns about alleged secret "side deals" struck with Tehran over its nuclear program. Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan., first brought attention to them Tuesday, saying they learned from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that there were two "side deals" between Iran and the IAEA. According to the lawmakers, one agreement covers inspection of the Parchin military complex, and the other concerns potential military aspects of Iran's nuclear program. On the former, they said, Iran would be able to strike a separate arrangement with the IAEA concerning inspections at Parchin. House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell joined Cotton and Pompeo in sending a letter to President Obama on Wednesday requesting that the agreements be made available to Congress so that they can be reviewed. "We request you transmit these two side agreements to Congress immediately so we may perform our duty to assess the many important questions related to the JCPOA ," the letter says. National Security Adviser Susan Rice, while defending the overall nuclear agreement, appeared to acknowledge the existence of the side deals on Wednesday. She said the matter of the Iran nuclear program's "possible military dimensions" (PMD) has long been an issue between Iran and the IAEA. She said they "negotiated and concluded an agreement to deal with this issue of PMD, which was one of the major sticking points in our dealings."

She said they "negotiated and concluded an agreement to deal with this issue of PMD, which was one of the major sticking points in our dealings." She added: "These documents are not public, but nonetheless, we have been briefed on those documents, we know their contents, we're satisfied with them and we will share the contents of those briefings in full in a classified session with the Congress. So there's nothing in that regard that we know that they won't know." Pompeo also asked Kerry about the secret deals in a briefing Wednesday and said afterwards that Kerry "confirmed that there were in fact side deals and himself had not seen the agreement." "I was incredibly surprised to learn there were components of the deal that Congress was not going to be privy to," Pompeo said, adding that he had expected that American negotiators would have demanded to see the side deals being cut. Kerry said after Thursday's hearing, though, "there are no side deals." The letter to Obama expressed concern that Congress was being kept in the dark. "Most troubling, Iran and the IAEA reached agreement to resolve issues related to research at Parchin, but Congress will not have the ability to review this agreement, nor will we know the results of the IAEA's assessment until December 15," the letter says. It goes on to request access to the side deals so that Congress can effectively review the deal as a whole: "Failure to produce these two side agreements leaves Congress blind on critical information regarding Iran's potential path to being a nuclear power and will have detrimental consequences for the ability of members to assess the JCPOA," the letter says. http://ift.tt/1VDjZkJ

A Dutch man was unharmed after a failed bid to launch his car across a retractable bridge. CCTV footage recorded on Wednesday in Holland shows a silver station wagon plummeting into the water after it races up an incline and towards a 5m gap between a bridge that is yet to connect. Bruinisse police say the 56-year-old driver had sped his vehicle underneath the arm of a security barrier before attempting his Hollywood movie crossing. The elderly Dutch man was taken to hospital with injuries he suffered after falling onto a concrete barrier while escaping from the water. The waterway was closed for several hours while a crane winched the car back onto dry land.

University of Missouri professors and staff members have been encouraged to confront colleagues who fail to use noninclusive language, the College Fix reported . A voluntary workplace diversity seminar last week - " The Power of Words: Inclusive Language at Mizzou " - underscored for those in attendance the importance of using "currently appropriate terminology" in order to bolster diversity. In encounters with language offenders, the goal is to "draw them out" so they'll begin to use "correct words in conversation." "If you have a professor who you think might need a little bit of awareness, there are ways to bring that out to the person," Amber Cheek, the school's disability inclusion and ADA compliance manager, told the crowd, according to the College Fix. But which terms are acceptable, and which terms aren't? Attendees received an "inclusive terminology" document that spells out "currently appropriate terminology as well as the reasoning behind why these terms are generally preferred." For example: Rather than using the term "mentally ill," instead say "person with a psychiatric disability." Rather than using the term "wheelchair-bound," instead say the person is a "wheelchair user." If you're unsure if someone wants to be referred to as a "she" or "he," you can simply ask, "What pronouns do you use?" Failing that, you can always resort to "gender-neutral pronouns" that include "they/them and ze/hir." "Color blind" is used by those who oppose "race-conscious policies" and don't believe they "see" race, so that term is frowned upon. When referring to an "immigrant" (an acceptable term), don't use "alien" (a slur). When an "underrepresented group" is made to feel "less than," that group is being "minoritized." The LGBTQ acronym for "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer" can also include "Asexual, Intersex, Questioning, Ally, Unidentified or Genderqueer." Cheek added, "Sometimes people gravitate away (from inclusive language). We all live in our own lives. We all live in our own cultural experiences ... and there is always going to be a large group of people who don't want to get out of that or who want to stay in their comfort zone. So - you have to draw them out. And sometimes the best way to do that is to pose your (chastisement) as, 'Here is how to be a better coworker, here is how to be a better professor.' And this is just one part of that," the College Fix reported. The last page of the event's handout includes a drawing of "The Gender Unicorn" - a friendly looking purple creature complete with rainbow thought bubble and a pair of hearts on its chest - courtesy of Trans Student Educational Resources. Alongside the Unicorn is a chart to educate readers on emotional and sexual attraction as well as gender identity, expression and assignment.

Testimony of Laura Wilkerson, Mother Of 18 Year-Old Killed By Illegal Immigrant At a Tuesday Senate hearing dedicated to the families who lost loved ones thanks to illegal aliens, Laura Wilkerson gave testimony on her youngest son Joshua's horrific death while some in the silent audience wept. Wilkerson called on Congress to place American lives and interests over foreigners, especially those illegally living in the country. During the hearing, titled "Oversight of the Administration's Misdirected Immigration Enforcement Policies: Examining the Impact on Public Safety and Honoring the Victims," Wilkerson broke from her written testimony to deliver a dire warning. "This was our family's 9/11 terrorist attack by a foreign invader," she said at the most pivotal point in her testimony. "It is going to take another life lost by a Senator, a Congressman, the President, even another of today's heroes, someone from Hollywood before someone in a position moves on this." "My son's name was Joshua Wilkerson," she began. "On November 16, 2010, he was beaten, strangled, tortured until he died. He was tied up, thrown in a field, and set on fire. His killer, Hermilo Moralez, was brought here illegally by his illegal parents when he was ten years old, so he fit the 'DREAM' kid description. He was sentenced to life in prison, which means it will be 30 years before he's up for parole. He'll be a 49-year-old man, who I don't expect to be deported. And I just hope he doesn't come to live in your city." Ms. Wilkerson's son was murder by an illegal immigrant who, because he came to the country as a minor, would have qualified for Obama's 2012 executive amnesty granted to illegal immigrant minors - or so-called DREAMers, whom Obama insists "belong here." Border patrol and immigration officials have explained that executive amnesty for illegal minors was, in large part, responsible for the surge of children coming across the border last summer. Unlike most Western countries in which all foreign nationals illegally residing in the country are subject to immigration laws, in the United States, the left has effectively carved out a sector of the illegal immigrant population - illegal minors - who are exempt from immigration law. In so doing, the left has created a perpetual cycle of chain of amnesty- as evidenced by Obama's 2014 amnesty in which he decided to suspend immigration laws for the parents of DREAMers. "We had to hear this kid on the stand muttering about, 'In my country...' 'In my country...' never to finish that sentence. We listened to him tell us repeatedly that his 'killing skills took over,' that Josh had kicked his dog, and his 'killing skills took over.' His parents somehow managed to provide lessons so he acquired a black belt in mixed martial arts. Joshua had never been in a fight in his life." Joshua was a "very quiet, old soul," his mother said. "He didn't speak a lot, but when he did, you listened to him. Like I said, he'd never been in a fight in his life." The silence in the hearing deepened as Wilkerson continued: "Instead of getting Joshua home that day from school, we got an autopsy report." Wilkerson read aloud portions of the gut-wrenching autopsy: "'This body is received in a grey body bag. There's a tag on his toe that bears the name, Joshua Wilkerson. This is a white male weighing a hundred pounds. He is tied up with braided rope - 13 loops around his neck in a slipknot. It goes behind his back through his back belt loop. It goes to his hands and his feet, behind his body. He has multiple fractures in his face and nasal cavity. His throat and his voicebox are crushed.'" Wilkerson took a deep breath and continued, looking at the senators before her with a steady gaze. "He was kicked so hard in the stomach that it sent his spleen into his spine, and sliced it in two... The medical examiner said it was torture." She returned to the text of the autopsy: "'This body has significant skin loss on his buttocks, his abdomen, his penis, his hands, and his face. He has one stick of gum and a tardy slip in his pocket." "This was our family's 9/11 terrorist attack by a foreign invader, whether you want to recognize it or whether you do not," Wilkerson said. "This government continues to fail or even recognize that we have an issue. Americans are dying daily at the hands of criminals that we don't even know are here." "You're officially notified today there's a problem when this happens. You can't deny it any longer. You cannot you cannot stand by and ignore our families - our American families. You're elected by Americans, not any other country. You should be for Americans," she emphasized. "If you want to sit quietly on the sidelines, you've thrown your hat into the ring already. Your silence speaks volumes. You're either for Americans, or you're not. "I will not give up another one of my children so that a foreign person can have a nicer life. I'm not going to do it. You don't understand the pain. It's so deep in the soul - in the place you don't even recognize you have. There aren't words to describe the pain to someone who has not gone through it. I'm not giving up another kid," she said. Wilkerson then issued a blistering attack on sanctuary city policies that provide safe harbor and anonymity for dangerous, criminal aliens who are living illegally in the United States. She said: Sanctuary city policies scream to the criminal element of illegals in this country: 'Come to our town USA, we'll protect you from our terrible policemen. We'll protect you from these tough American laws, that you - because you had a hard life - are not able to go through the same motion that an American is.' It is going to take another life lost by a Senator, a Congressman, the President, even another of today's heroes, someone from Hollywood before someone in a position moves on this. I urge you: you are in a position to do something about this for Americans. "I thank you, Mr. Trump for getting a message out about the nation in two minutes... that countless families like my own have been trying to say for five to six years. It feels good to be heard whether you love him, or whether you don't, I felt heard." "Our family is shattered. It's shattered- it'll never be the same. We'll manage, we'll go on. We function. We put on that happy face. But my kids have changed - surviving kids have changed. Everything about us has changed. It's by the grace of God that in our broken hearts we have a stream of memories of the loving relationship that we had with Joshua." Reminding mass immigration advocates at the hearing that American communities suffer unspeakable loss when an immigrant murders one of their own, Wilkerson said Joshua's older brother returned from the battlefield fighting to defend our country, only to find no one was defending his younger brother. "America lost that day. You lost a good citizen that was on the brink of becoming who knows what," she said. "He mentioned going into the Air Force like his older brother, who was out defending this country - Americans - and we had to bring him home to bury his little brother, when he wasn't being defended right here at home. It's absurd to me." Illegal aliens aren't living in the shadows, she added; they boldly break our laws and demand taxpayer freebies. She went on: They're not scared to come here. We're inviting them. Sanctuary cities says, 'Come on down.' Sympathy has never trumped the law in this country. Ever. Everyone of them here threaten national security because we don't know who they are. They make a decision to come here. They're not scared, and they're invited by sanctuary city policies. They aren't scared to wait in line for a hand-out that every American citizen has paid into the system for our children if need be. They mistrust police because they come from countries that mistrust police. They're not scared here. I want you to know that our family is broken, forever. We are forever broken. I don't want the sympathy. I want you to do something about it. Every one of you sitting here is in a position to do something. Just throw your hat into the ring for Americans. Quit sitting silent because it's going to help you get a vote. Throw your hat in the ring and take care of American families. Wilkerson concluded her speech to a standing ovation from the audience. Sen. Chuck Grassley restored order with no small difficulty. Despite her unimaginable pain, Wilkerson has bravely fought for years, telling her story over and over again to help stop amnesty and prevent other American families from seeing an autopsy report instead of greeting their children after school. Sen. Ted Cruz at Hearing on the Administration's Immigration Enforcement

Today it was published that three Spanish free-lance journalists have been hijacked in Syria. One of them is the cameraman Antonio Pampliega. He has been reporting the war in Syria since 2012. I was searching his work when I came across a very intense war footage filmed in an unknown Syrian location. The clip is another piece I have extracted from the complete video. It shows some dudes who attempt to evacuate a wounded/dying soldier, and they do it in a very unprofessional and sloppy way. I uploaded another video from the original footage of this brave cameraman. It portrays a stupid fighter who is totalled by an exploding grenade he holds in his hand and fails to light properly: http://ift.tt/1Id42HV The complete footage is in the link below. It is very intense and quite interesting. And it is filmed in excellent quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQeaqagXnKA I hope this brave cameraman is in good health and is freed soon.

FOX5NY definitely keeps you on your toes. Thank goodness for the DVR. This wasn't recent, but wanted to share the herpa-derp. First clip Steve let's a sentence-enhancer slip through but just keeps on plucking that chicken as best he can. Herp. The second clip is Dari Alexander tripping over "sitting shiva". DERP They are both still (thankfully) employed here in NYC at FOX5.

Apparently something in Sign Language was offensive, leading to fisticuffs. No typical shrieking or whooping, but you are ALL going to Hell if you laugh at the deaf peoples' vocalizations. Seriously. God is watching. Courtesy of our friends at WorldStar, who never fail to disappoint.

Video from Facu: Shows miserable punk palestinky muslim cunts fail at throwing molotov cocktails at the Israeli cop's car and cops themselves. The palestinian fucking morons are horrible at aiming since they didn't even fucking hit the parked police car!. Let alone the police men who fled from the car. Palestinians are fucking coward ape shits that continue to use barbaric tactics like these that don't even work. Israel is waiting for the next reason to go to war with hamas in gaza, hezbollah in lebanon. Since hezbollah and hamas don't have an Air Force. Israel will still have the advantage no matter what war these muslim cunt fucking apes wage. Israel doesn't even have to send a jet in the air either. They can just use their UAV technology to fuck up gaza and lebanon.

Greece's outspoken former finance minister has warned the country's controversial planned economic reforms are "going to fail" and said the country's government does not really believe they will work. Yannis Varoufakis told the BBC that Greece was being subjected to an economic programme that would "go down in history as the greatest disaster of macroeconomic management ever". The country's parliament this week approved a range of harsh new austerity measures just 10 days after the Greek people voted against similar proposals in a referendum. The country could receive up to EUR86bn to prop up its crumbling economy. However, Varoufakis said: "This programme is going to fail whoever undertakes its implementation." When asked how long this would take he responded: "It has failed already." Varoufakis resigned earlier this month in a conciliatory gesture to European finance ministers as Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras attempted to negotiate a new deal. His abrasive style and unwillingness to compromise led to some EU leaders refusing to deal with him. He said that Tsipras does not believe in the new deal, but had little choice but to sign up after being bullied by Germany. "We were given a choice between being executed and capitulating. And he decided that capitulation was the ultimate strategy," he said. Tsipras last night announced a cabinet reshuffle, purging members of his government who voted against the new bailout deal. One of the men replaced was energy minister Panagiotis Lafazanis, a hard line member of the Syriza coalition. The government will now have to pass even more reforms next Wednesday. The German parliament has now voted to open talks for a new bailout deal, although Chancellor Angela Merkel faced a serious rebellion from within her own party. However, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, head of the Eurogroup of finance ministers, said the process could take up to four weeks. 18 July 2015 http://soi.0b.sl.pt

Varoufakis: Greek Reforms 'Going to Fail'

Snowboarding isn't a sport widely available in Ireland. This simulator is about as close as you can get to the experience without going overseas. Not only does this machine simulate the boarding experience you might expect on the slopes, but it also stimulates the risks as this unfortunate user discovered. Unfortunately for him, he did't even have the cushion of snow to soften his landing! Credit: YouTube/Paul Brennan
