Many media pundits claim the current European migrant crisis is due to conflict in the Middle East. Yet, there have been many recent Middle Eastern conflicts, yet none have created the flood of migrants on a level not seen in Europe since World War II. Conflicts only define who is coming not why they come to the heart of Europe. Conflict is not the reason why the migrants cross many safe countries refusing to seek refuge in each safe haven they pass through.
