** Original Version 36 Minutes, Edited To 20 Minutes** Canadian County, OK - A high-speed chase ended in a crash in Canadian County Monday. Around 11 a.m., agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics pulled over Andrew Sawyers for speeding in a construction zone along I-40 near mile marker 107. During the stop, agents say they noticed beer bottles in Sawyers' vehicle. When they asked the man to step out of his vehicle, the man allegedly put something in his pocket. Authorities say when Sawyers was questioned about what he just put in his pocket, he pulled out a handgun. He then dropped the gun, got in his car and drove off, officials say. After leading authorities on a high-speed chase for about 10 minutes, Sawyers crashed his vehicle around mile marker 132, which is near the Cimarron Road exit. Law enforcement officials surrounded Sawyers' vehicle and were able to take him into custody. They say they found two rifles inside his car, including a .22 and a loaded AR-15. Authorities say the man has a suspended license from Florida. Sawyers is facing several charges for eluding an officer, speeding, and weapons charges. for injuries received. Dog is doing well."
