Neither the President nor the Prime Minister of Russia has said they will counter an invasion. People are chiming WW3 because the PM said that an invasion would quote lead to "yet another war on Earth" and he said, "any kind of land operations, as a rule, lead to a permanent war". Then the PM lead with examples, "Look at what's happened in Afghanistan and a number of other countries. I am not even going to bring up poor Libya." So he's not saying WW3, he's saying Syria will turn into another forever broken fail state of war. So when I see videos like this I roll my fucking eyes and just say fuck it back to porn:
