A man attached to a crane bucket lowered himself infront of his girlfriends bedroom windown in an attempt to have a creative marriage proposel. During the attempt the crane (and groom) came crashing down apperently almost hitting his girlfriend and resulting in 2 wrecked houses. 2 More cranes were brought in to remove the fallen crane. During the lifting attempt the crane fell again, this time also hitting a neighbouring house. Later on the night the fallen crane was finally removed. The residents of in total 3 houses had to be evacuated due to structual safety concerns. Despite all this the girlfriend said yes and the couple is now celebrating in Paris for the weekend.
