Highland, CA - On October 26, 2015, Highland Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 7400 Block of Mountain Laurel Drive in the City of Highland regarding a burglary that just occurred. Investigation revealed three suspects burglarized the victim's residence by forcing open a rear door. All three suspects were captured on video surveillance. On October 29, 2015, Deputies responded to a residence in the 28000 Block of Cherokee Rose Dr. reference an attempted burglary, this address is located directly across the street from the previous burglary. During this investigation, it was determined two of the three suspects from the original burglary attempted burglarize this victim's residence, while the victim was inside. At least one suspect was armed with a handgun, and had it aimed at the residence as they approached. As the suspects attempted to force entry into the residence, they appeared to be scared off when they saw the victim inside. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. On October 30, 2015, four suspects returned to the victim's residence and again attempted to force entry into home. At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun and had it pointed at the residence during the attempted break-in. The suspects are described as Hispanic or White males, approximately 16-25 years of age. Investigators are releasing photos and video of the suspects, in hopes someone may recognize the suspects and notify Investigators.
